Yep, I know the CostCo deal is only going to appeal much to non-opening MISB collectors like myself. I normally loathe repacks too but the one last year just really appealed to me for some reason. (Window packaging is pretty cool)

And yeah, I know it's a stupid rant given everything else that has been going on recently with TLC stuff, but it's just frustrating having no idea when to expect stuff you know has been ready to ship for months now.

Sooner or later it's bound to get better, it's not knowing when that keeps me on edge.

First I've heard about the Costco Turbo Tank being canned, that sucks! >:( :'(  I was looking forward to getting that very much! >:( >:( :'( :'(  I have the AT-TE exclusive from last year and it is one of my all time favorite sets that Hasbro has ever brought out. :)  I love windowed box stuff and this is one of Hasbo's best ever!  Very cool and a great value for the price! 8)

Awesome, we think alike! Yeah, I was really bummed about this as well...they just mentioned it in the latest round of Q&A, "no warehouse exclusives this winter" or something like that. No explanation given, of course. CostCo should have all their X-MAs toys in by this week too, so I was looking for this to hit any day. :(

After seeing these at TRU the other day, I decided these are an easy pass for me.

GASP! They're out already??!  :o

If you live in California. Apparently no one else in the country deserves to share in the joy. They'll keep us dangling by the short hairs a while longer...frigging West Coast bias.

Cripes, the shelves are filthy with these things around here.

I'd be willing to buy any of these things you guys need in exchange for TCW Wave 7. (Padme, Matchstick, etc)I need all 4...

I am just completely over waiting for this &*@#! wave to arrive already...

WHOAH! No way - I don't normally order figures from online - I always buy them at retail. Feeling disappointed ....  >:(

Oh wow, dude, I just realized after reading this and the other thread you posted in that you may have taken my snarky remark out of context. Sorry!

I didn't LITERALLY mean this was an online-exclusive wave, I just meant that it has been in a de facto sense thus far. (IE: the only places these have shown up at all is online the past month or so)

I'm curious how keeping the product out of brick and mortar retail outlets is going to enhance their seasonal marketing strategy.

As of today - exactly 2 months to X-Mas. ANOTHER week has no passed with no new Clone Wars toys released.

This makes almost a full month since they shipped out ANYTHING new for the line. If this is really their 'cash cow" right now they are neglecting it badly.

Just give us the 3 BP's, 2 Deluxe Vehicle/Fig sets, and Waves 7 & 8 and we can call it a year, ok? We saw ALL of that stuff at SDCC.

Oh, and don't even get me started on their recent announcement that they have KILLED the CostCo exclusive Turbo Tank this year. I was really disappointed to hear that. You couldn't kill that stupid GH exclusive for them instead?

I just saw last year's exclusive AT-TE go for $136 on eBay so don't tell me there is no demand.

Just heard this wave *may* be an online exclusive wave - that explains why I haven't EVER seen it at retail. Is this rumor true??  ???

You mean Wave 6 (Luminara, Argyus, etc) or Wave 7 (Padme, Matchstick, etc)?

I have seen lots of Wave 6 around here, so nothing fishy about that one. Wave 7 however, is NOWHERE to be found outside of e-tailers online. So if that is the Wave you are talking about, I could almost believe it. I mean, they've been available for WEEKS now on the web, that is a pretty significant lag in showing up at retail.

Even so, I would be shocked and appalled if Hasbro suddenly played the online-only Wave card out of nowhere like that. I don't think even they would pull something so short-sighted and counter-intuitive.

Thanks dude, that's exactly what I had suspected...Lili Ledy all the way.

I would have preferred to restrict my collection to domestic variants but this is a pretty noteworthy one so probably deserving of its place in my stash.

I checked for these at lunch and of course our sh*tty East Coast TRU had nothing. They are literally 3 waves behind on their Legacy figures now, it is shameful.

I'm about ready to cut them out of The Loop.

I think I've seen each figure at retail several times except for the "last" wave with the Padme, IG droid, Matchstick, etc.

Yeah, apparently that Wave is an "Online-Exclusive".  ::) Most e-tailers have had them for weeks now, but not a single one has shown up at a brick and mortar ANYWHERE. That's a pretty significant lag, IMHO.

I totally sympathize with the OT neglect you guys have been suffering through. But lately the tide has really turned in your favor. We have now seen 2 fig waves, plus the TIE exclusives, available at retail since the last CW toy was released. (The Crumb Bomber) And that Dewback and AT-ST are due to hit any day. They are catching up big time.

Why can't Hasbro focus on 2 lines simultaneously and just crank out a new release every other week? It's not like they share the same physical space in stores.

3582
Is Hasbro located in California? I swear you guys get EVERYTHING first. Lucky bastages!

Got my shipping notice from EE on these today.

I've just opened my ROTJ figs.  This is very reminescent of '07, when we got waves every week it seemed.  On one hand, it's great - new figures are never boring - but on the other, it makes it hard to appreciate any of it.

Yeah, life is pretty sweet on the Legacy tip right now. Tons of new fig waves, the Interceptor, Dewback & AT-ST coming any day, etc.

Not so much for Clone Wars. I think they forgot this show is still running. 8 weeks til X-Mas, marketing dweebs!

Yeah, I know TCW line has gotten some good profile since SDCC, my point is more the distribution of releases. They dumped 3 waves of figs practically right on top of each other. It's feast or famine.

I'm just bitter and the ranting helps. I know it all amounts to nothing and is just my perspective. It just seems like every day I am reading about some new TLC wave or exclusive hitting/about to hit. There have been 3 waves of figs, plus the BAD stuff, the Evo packs, the Interceptor, the Dewback, the AT-ST, etc ad nauseam.

I know it's cyclical, but the waiting is just interminable. And I think not knowing is the worst part. If I had any idea of when this stuff would ACTUALLY be hitting shelves, it would at least provide some reassurance. As it is now, I've lost all enthusiasm.  :(

And yeah, I know there's a lot to be said for the e-tailers. This is just not a viable option for me because any packages arriving at my house in the mail are liable to be the catalyst for some ugly arguments with the Wife. Also, as a non-opener, I'm somewhat picky about the quality of packaging. I hate not knowing what I might be getting.

Just got my Argyus so I'm caught up on basic figs. Can't wait to read about the next wave of CW and Legacy being found in stores tomorrow.

From your lips, to Hasbro's ears. I have all but given up hope on finding new toys any more. This is easily my longest dry spell in recent memory.

This is just plain asinine. They're throwing everything into the Legacy line right now while talking out of the other side of their mouth about how TCW sells better and has strong marketing support from the show. If that's true, WHERE THE F ARE ALL THE NEW TOYS THAT WERE ON DISPLAY AT SDCC?!?!

We have roughly 8 shopping weeks until Christmas. And we're STILL waiting on 3 Battle Packs, 2 Deluxe Vehicle/Fig sets, and at least 1 if not 2 more waves of figures. (Seriously, Wave 10 has been available online for weeks now, what is the hold up?)

I'm literally so over this nonsense I am losing interest in collecting altogether. It's like having a bad addiction and no reliable source. I need a fix!
