I loathe EU stuff generally speaking, but whatever jackass thought up that stupid Rabbit-Man should be tarred and feathered and banned from ever having anything to do with Star Wars ever again. That is the most inane, ridiculous thing I have ever seen.  >:(

No animated style figures made the cut?  :-\

Meh, so much for my interest in this poll...

That IS awesome news about the variant, but why is all the focus right now on Legacy and no new toys for the CW line? THE SHOW JUST STARTED!

Put out those freaking new BP's already, and make with the Freeco Speeder!

Don't want to fall down this hole personally.   :-\

Heh heh, I said they same thing when I bought Rumsleg. :) Luckily, I was able to resist the Legacy lure...

Cross over to our side! You know you want to do it!

Damn, I missed last night's episode because it got pre-empted for a gubernatorial debate. (!) The re-airing is 3am tonight/tomorrow...sigh.

What I do LOVE is 17 consecutive new figures with nary a re-pack among them anywhere!

Couldn't Thire or Jek be considered repacks since both were issued in the Walmart 2-Packs first?   :P   ;)

Touche'  :-*

Yeah, technically I guess both would be re-packs of previously non-individually carded figures. For some reason I was thinking Thire was slightly differentiated, but I have no evidence to support that thought.

It actually raises a slight ethical dilemma - do I really need these? I normally eschew the straight re-packs but these 2 would have a somewhat unique appeal. Hmmm.

*curses Hasbro marketing machine*

Awesome, I was just about to post this but you guys are all over it!

I don't know, I wasn't blown away right off the bat by anyone in this Wave, although Thi-Sen is pretty sweet. Sidious looks downright comical, like the hideous offspring of Palpatine and Monty Burns.

And somehow I feel like they didn't get the Tactical Droid right, but my recollection may be distorted. I have been looking forward to that release though.

Jayson, you rock! Awesome pics...that is exactly what I was talking about. Jedi T-6 Shuttle - good to know. That thing looks inevitable to be realized in plastic!

I can wait on Xanadu Blood, give us this bad boy next spring! (or the Twilight, that is cool too)

Don't get too excited, the commando droid is too small and underscaled and even though it looks alright, the smallness makes it a big disappointment.

I was going to army build, but after I picked one up I decided not to get anymore.

So you own this BP? Did you purchase it online?

Wow, you are right on the money...my Rishi BP photos from SDCC were so dark I didn't even recognize them. Good call.

This to me is the "lost BP" which seems to have fallen off the production schedule somehow. It's the only 1 of the 3 new CW BP's that isn't a Target exclusive, but was originally slated to hit retail well before either of those other 2. (Ryloth and Abregado) 8/7 as opposed to 9/6.

I realize, based on the most recent QA response, that those SDCC listed dates are outright lies, but it seems like at least priority-wise they would have a good grasp of which BP's are going to be released first.

Good points, Doc. I also think it would have been more believable to sell the heel-turn (to coin a wrestling phrase) as a sleeper cell subconscious programming, but yes, they do seem to have ruled this out.

How could the Kaminoans have programmed all that stuff 10 years ago though, before the Senate legislation was even conceived? Not even a Sith lord has the kind of freakish foresight.

I guess to me, it's the logistics that seem so improbable. In order to succeed, a LOT of clones and other people would have had to have known about Order 66. (Like, they all know it means execute the Jedi, but someone had to have TOLD them that, or it must have been in a manual somewhere) It would be next to impossible to implement that kind of thing in total secrecy. (IMO)

I liked Friday's episode a bit more story-wise, at least they got the Holocron back and saved the kids. Bane still manages to make the Jedi look like a bunch of bumbling idiots which really continues to irritate me. WTF? If the Republic doesn't have the sack to just kill the guy, go ahead and pay him an exorbitant sum of money NOT to work for the Separatists.

Well, at least they provided a cogent, convincing explanation for how Bane switched places with Denal. OH WAIT, NO THEY DIDN'T!  ::)

That was some really weak writing right there. There's suspension of disbelief, and then there's just stupidity.

BTW, did they unveil a whole new ship on the ep? I don't recall ever seeing that ship Ani & Obi used to dock on the Separatist vessel...it was mondo cool though. Looked almost like a cross between an A-Wing and B-Wing - rotating cockpit but with a flatter, more circular chassy. I want it! (Hasbro - you know what to do!)

Yep, I'm not a Legacy man but I had to rush out and grab Rumsleg. Everything about this guy screams coolness to me.

I was really excited to see pics of the 2 new figs on the front page. Commando Droid Captain and "Shiney" look pretty sweet.

Any speculation on when these will show up next year, what wave they will be a part of, who else might be included?

I am thinking this will probably be the Wave after Aayla and Hondo (Wave 12?). So maybe next spring?

Gotta throw Palps in there pretty soon too, and plenty of bounty hunters to choose from now...

I still think it was highly implausible all of the clones instantly turned on the Jedi in the first place. It's not like they were subliminally programmed or anything, there's still a chain of command and I'm pretty sure "Lord of the Sith" does not outrank "General of the Republic Armies".

And are we really to believe ALL these clones were trained to understand and execute this order ahead of time and NONE of the Jedi got wind of it? Suuuuure.

TCW has already established that clones are capable of independent thought and action. (As with the traitor last season) So it seems highly improbably guys like Rex and Cody would have gone right along with this no questions asked.
