I did end up swinging by the Target after work that I had hit last night and there was no sign of any of those 2-packs to be seen anyplace on the SW aisle. So they must have stashed them someplace, I guess til the endcap goes up. Interesting.

Not sure if this classifies as a recent Vintage Collection purchase - but I scored the 2010 Geonosis 2-packs this morning on my way into work.

Had to use the DPCI trick to get them, none of my Targets have put the stuff out early.

How does Shakk Ti look to you? Worth picking up if you have the TLC version from earlier this year?

And that's unique to their exclusives, is it not? The regular Battle Packs have a different DCPI I believe.

Scored the Target Exclusive Clone Wars 2-packs today.

Picked up five of the Senate Guards set and two of the Cad Bane/IG-86 sets.

By my count that is $104.93 before taxes...well done, sir!

I wish your wallet a speedy recovery...  :)

The issue I've found is that if they don't have shelf space, they tend to not want to bring it out because they can't leave the opened case in the back.  So if you're buying a case, it works out, but if you're not then they don't want to (can't?) because it's against the rules they're given (if they can't find shelf space for it).

I was thinking about this last night actually. I had them crack open a fresh case of the TCW 2-packs for me, and after I took the 2 mintiest ones I wanted, the dude wandered off with the open case and I wondered where he was headed with them because there was no shelf space or tag out whatsoever in the SW section. I assumed he just put them back in the stockroom but maybe not if that is against policy.

I may stop there after work just to see.

The fact their planet is all blue-eyed and blonde is getting a little weird too.  There's hardly anyone else...  Though there was that very Jango-like guy that got questioned by the Dutchess and Padme.

They need to establish once and for all whether Jango is a Mandalorian or not. This series would be an excellent place to explore his backstory. (Yes, I'm sure some dweeb comic book writer has already created a backstory, but nevermind that)

Why is he the only swarthy looking Mando with an Australian accent?

I read at one of the firewall sites (Yakface, Sandtroopers, whatever) that some schmoe found this at a TRU in Alabama.

Wowzers! New product is reaching critical mass!

Scored both of these last night using the DCPI scam at the Target customer service desk.

They're nice sets, well done.

And I do think the IG-86 has updated paint apps. Mine had a definite copper tint that I do not recall from the original.

The TCW BPs are all in healthy supply in my area. But I'm surprised that the "Holocron Heist" set seems to be moving more slowly, considering it has 3 core characters and 1 villain.

Yeah, that BP was already released previously in the red/white packaging (not around here but everywhere else in the country apparently) so it is old news by this point.

I'm curious why I am seeing more Mando BP's but none with the ARC Troopers. Outside of the one I bought a few weeks back at TRU, I have never seen another. Anywhere.

I was able to score both Target TCW 2-pack exclusives last night using the old DCPI Jedi Mind Trick. I'm sure I could have scored the collector packs as well but figure I can wait these out until I get paid Friday.

Love those Senate dudes, even without faces.

Thanks! I will pick some up tonight and give it a try. Appreciate the help...

Yeah, it was everything it was cracked up to be...B-O-R-I-N-G.

I also found it weird that they felt the need to introduce a whole new species. There are already so many existing ones in the canon they could have chosen from. Instead they just go all Stargate and whip something out of their arses. Seemed contrived and pointless.

I found myself  musing whether they would ever make a figure out of those Mando royal guards, they get a lot more screen time than those ridiculous cops.

I wonder if it is a source of contention between Hasbro and Filoni how much they feature Satine on the show. I feel like it must really grind Hasbro's nuts because her omission from the animated line becomes increasingly glaring with each passing episode. (IMHO)

Drove all over town, hit at least ten Walmarts - not a single one had ANY of these.

Sounds like there's plenty of them where people don't need or want them.

Jabba Part Two?

How much?

Sorry, I tried to indicate that there was no price associated with either of these items, so no idea.

I went to about 8 other Targets after that and none of them had these.

Saw this complete wave at a Target for the first time today. Previously I had only seen it before at Walmart, so for anyone still needing these, it's a good sign.

I found the vintage packaged Snowspeeder and TIE Fighter this morning as well, right here in the good ole US of A.

Target just had one of each out...verrry cool. Really love that packaging design. Neither had any sort of price close to them, so I can only assume they will ring up for the same as the other midsize starfighters. Or maybe I'm just being optimistic there.  ::)

Yeah, I left them. Not easily.
