I saw the new Aliens figures at TRU yesterday for the first time - Hicks, Hudson, Xenomorph, etc. They lookd pretty damn good. I think they were $17.99 though? Yikes.

Saw these at TRU yesterday for the first time and ended up picking up the lot. (Crimson Typhoon, Gipsy Danger, and Knifehead) They were only $15 a piece and I had a coupon for $5 off, so what the hell. I can always return them if buyer's remorse sets in, but so far I feel pretty damn good about the purchase. I don't think these will be sold many places and may disappear quickly. Plus I just think the movie looks all kinds of awesome.

One less thing to clog the shelves in Europe now?

Checking in after Week 1 of Target clearance: very little moving, prices have not dropped again yet. Hoping we hit at least 50% off in the next week or two.

Comic Book Guy at my local shop confirmed Comic Series Wave 2 is due to arrive 6/26. Same date for the Governor/Penny 2-pack as well. Gonna be an expensive week!

or not. My shop had NOTHING yesterday, what a letdown. Even worse, when I asked the guy if there was a revised ship date for the Comic Series Wave 2, he said "December 2013".

Come on, I don't even believe that. EE and BBTS still have these listed as July.

This line takes too fing long between waves I have decided. It's not like there are pegwarmers blocking the way either.

The Cup is the coolest freakin' trophy in sports EVER.

They're replaying the game now on NHLHD or whatever...epic ending coming up in the next half hour!

Sheesh, I actually turned it off with about two minutes to go, figured Game Seven was a done deal. D'oh!

Congrats to the 'Hawks!

Yeah, maybe, but I SO want those. I would have gone nuts for these things back in the day. I'm more geeked about those than the new 6" stuff.

I went back to Tuesday Morning and picked up the tank today too. Curious if this is just a straight repaint of the CW version...

Clearance season has arrived.  ;D

My local Target had $13.98 Class II ships and $7.41 Clone Wars figs. I think that works out to 30% off on the vehicles and 25% off on the figures. I'm holding out for at least 50% off if not 70% before I move on any of these though.

Strange that the Class I assortment was not being clearanced at all.

Looks like they have listings for 4 figures: Gerry Lane, Paramedic Zombie, Special Forces Zombie, and Civilian Zombie. I guess they are from Jazwares?

I can't say I'm overly impressed but am enjoying the book so if I can find them at retail, probably TRU I am guessing, I may be down.

Was digging around on the internets last night about these lines and found some interesting stuff. I guess the Prometheus line isn't doing all that hot and NECA has announced that the Fifield/Shaw wave is on hold now. :( But they can still manage to get 2 more holographic Engineers into Wave 3 cause THAT will save the line. Huh?

I'm one of the few people who actually liked that movie I think, and I'm still on the fence about jumping in. They're too expensive and noone but TRU carries them around here. They had that one sale a few weeks back but since then nothing.

The Aliens line still looks cool but noone seems to know when these are supposed to show up. I've heard everything from June - August.

Agreed, really glad Bruins did not go up 3-1 because then it would be over. Now it's just getting interesting. Best 2-out-of-3 with Blackhawk owning the home ice. Bring it on!

Grabbed a 2010 SOTDS Cody (CW03) off eBay after reading the JTA blurb about it being a unique paint job, and referencing this in Sansweet's book. Pretty sure I had passed this up back in the day as a simple repaint but it does appear to be just different enough, well you know.

Gotta dig those old figures out now and re-file this one, not looking forward to that.

The Sequel Trilogy / Re: Star Wars Episode VII

Casting call time! Since they're looking for talent in the UK, I say take 'em all from a recent wildly successful English franchise:

Late-teen female, independent, good sense of humour, fit.

>>Hermione

Young twenty-something male, witty and smart, fit but not traditionally good looking.

>>Ron

A late twentysomething male, fit, handsome and confident.

>>Harry

Seventy-something male, with strong opinions and tough demeanour. Also doesn’ t need to be particularly fit.

>>Dumbledore

A second young female, also late teens, tough, smart and fit.

Ginny

Forty something male, fit, military type.

>>Snape

Thirtysomething male, intellectual. Apparently doesn’t need to be fit.

>Voldemort

Voila, instant classic.  ;)
