Wow.  :o

I don't know what else to say...

The dining room is amazing.  And the detail in the sculpture in the room with Han & Leia - it really makes your display shine.  Those VOTC stormtroopers are really at home in a display like this!

Nice low #'s on your Jango and Vader BTW.

Yeah, I was pretty happy with those #'s.  But it seems odd how people seem to be getting #'s that are all over the spectrum.  Getting a low # doesn't really seem to indicate at what time during the release I actually got it.  Strange.

Actually, there are 5 different poses, but I wasn't impressed with the 5th one so I just display the 4. So I still have 2 "extra" stormtroopers in my closet, 'cause I bought 6 total.

Buying a few a time would be the smart way to go, especially after seeing what I paid for shipping. charged me 23.95 US, then FedEx charged me $41.57 CDN  (about $32 US) for brokerage fees (duty and garbage).  At least buying a few at a time might make it seem worth the expense - buying across the border is tough on my Canadian wallet!   :-\

If you ever wanna get rid of one of those stormies for say...real real cheap or even free, put me on the list.

Oh, yeah, me too!   :D

That is an absolutely awesome collection!  My Vader and Jango busts arrived the other day, and I've totally fallen in love with these things.  They're so detailed and surprisingly heavy.  I have to say though that I'm definitely a bigger fan of the busts that have arms included, they add so much to the "drama" of the poses.  My Vader is # 1041 and Jango is # 0609.

Those Stormtroopers look great.  4 different poses, eh?  Hmmm...

Jeff introduced me to the world of GG Bust-Ups.  Fast and friendly, thanks so much Jeff!   :)

Those are incredible.  The Snowtrooper is my favourite, but the Death Star Gunner and Ackbar are really good too.   8)

Alas, I'll never be able to get this because MR can't ship replica weapons to Canada.  It's a real shame, because it looks like a beauty.   You must be pretty proud of that piece of art, especially with that dazzling mirror base!

It's so much fun to see how these projects come together!  I recently finished my Star Wars room, which took me a few months to do.  I don't have nearly enough room (but do we ever?), but overall I'm pretty pleased with it.  Funny thing is though, that you're never really done because there's always new acquisitions to add!  That being said, it sure feels good when you finally release your toys from their "cardboard prisons" after having them stored for so many years.   Keep up the great work and continue to show us the changes you may make!

Sounds like a neat idea, I'm sure there would be some surprising "upsets" along the way.  :)

Bah, we've had snow for 3 weeks.  We had one hell of a start to winter, got at least 6 inches the 1st day, and it's still here.  It melts just enough during the nicer days, but when it freezes in the evening look out!  Me no likey sliding through intersections!  I ordered a set of Michelin X-Ice's for the car - that should improve things dramatically.  I hope.   :-\

Obviously Kubricks are grabbing a lot of people's attention today!  I've played with the idea of getting into these, I've never even seen one with my own eyes.   Hmmm...

I can get you started on that path too, just like I did with the Bust-Ups!  Just send a PM if you are interested... ;)

Oh yeah, and welcome to too!

I'll keep it in mind - I'm gonna need a 2nd job if I keep this up!   ;D

First, I'm 18 champ.

Second, you LP Haters:

As I said, to each his own.

See, it's a generation gap too, I'm sure.
My first thought when you said LP haters?  huh!? Most of these were LPs when they were released?!
sigh... lets see- you are 18 so vinyl was already getting rare when you were born.

Funny story, I own a record player and a whole shatload of records. ;)

Boy, I am taking some heat in this thread. :P

Well, I gotta back you up here Kevin, Linkin Park is one of my favourites too.  However, I actually prefer Meteora over Hybrid Theory:

Oh, by the way, when you said LP haters, you meant Linkin Park haters, not LP (Long Play record) haters, didn't you?  At least that's how I understood it.   :)

Sorry, my post might not have been clear... He didn't really say that. It's a little creative writing by someone regarding what we all think he was thinking.

String him up anyway.  A man who hits a woman is lower than dirt.  Period.
