Admittedly, I didn't click into any of the related links from the story, but are we sure this isn't an April Fools joke?

Seems ridiculous to me, is Lucasfilm going to have to change the look of Jabba's palace in the movie now?

Finished a project at work and was given an AMEX gift card as a reward - so I finally pulled the trigger and bought the 2011 Millennium Falcon set. Glad to have the iconic vehicle of the OT in Lego form finally...

I think the Anakin, Padme, Luke and Biggs should have ALL been only 1-per case and the other four figures 2-per case.

Damn Hasbro, why not just throw in EP1 Qui-Gon in this case while you're at it?

Picked up the Umbaran Heavy Mobile Canon last night - nice set.

LMK if you find any cheap jetpack troopers Pete, I would like 1 for openers myself if the price is right.

Of course. I'm hoping there might be an online or store exclusive where they'll have a set of the updated Rex and three of these 501st Jetpack Clones.

Took advantage of some sales both at TRU.com and Walmart.com...

2010 Luke's Landspeeder
2012 Jabba's Palace
2011 Geonosian Starfighter
2011 Ewok Attack
2012 Anakin's Podracer (mini in bag)

If anyone is still looking for Jabba's Palace, WalMart.com has it for $95 - not as good as others found it on in-store clearance of $80, but still much better than the $150 price tag at TRU or $120 price tag at Target. Got it shipped site-to-store so shipping was free.

Got my 2013 Clone Wars figures I picked up from Amazon - so while I can appreciate slight paint differences with the Cody figure, I'm going to go ahead and consider myself "done" with the animated Clone Wars line short of being able to score more of the Jet Pack 501st Clone Troopers or Battledroids with the extra arm articulation at a more reasonable price.

Got my case of the 2013 Movie Heroes figures from Toy Palace yesterday. Like I've said elsewhere, I would have happily bought multiples of the light-up Sandtrooper and the blast-apart Battledroid. Hopefully those will find a home elsewhere. I would have loved the Boba/Jango Fett figures with the missile firing back-packs, but since those are just different accessories, I'm not as disappointed about missing those.

Got my case of CW 2013 Wave 1 from Toy Palace yesterday.

Glad to have the Anakin, Obi-Wan and Rex to open and a complete set of 9 to keep MOC.

Would love to get at least one of the 501st Troopers and the CW-BAD R2 to open, but I just don't see that happening at $40/figure and $30/figure respectively.

Sad way for the Clone Wars line to end.

Edit: Pulled the trigger on one each of the 501st Trooper, R2-D2 and Battledroid figures via a Canadian seller on Amazon - at least now I'll have one of each of those open. I'm okay with not having one of each of Savage, Maul and Cody to open since I'm pretty sure those three are straight-up re-releases.

All is not lost - there is an update here:

http://starwars.com/news/a-new-direction-for-lucasfilm-animation.html

And there's a pretty cool clip to go with it.

Filoni is basically saying that they are going to "wind the series down" so that at least means we're going to get a chance to have some level of closure and hopefully plot-point-link-up with EP3.

Disney is NOTORIOUS for direct-to-video fare - I find it VERY hard to believe that they'll pass up doing the same thing here with the what's been done already for The Clone Wars. Who knows, maybe they'll bundle four or five episodes into "movies" and air them as specials on DisneyXD.

Unfortunately, coming on the heels of The Clone Wars' cancellation is the news that Detours has NOT yet been cancelled.  ;)

Not so fast - looks like someone took a look at that steaming turd and decided that an animated Star Wars comedy wasn't that great of an idea - they have posted an article about the future of The Clone Wars and Detours on the official site here:

Picked up this week:
- 2012 X-Wing
- 2012 Advent Calendar
- 2013 Rancor Pit

Where did you snag the Advent Calendar?

At my local Toys R Us, they still had one sitting around and I had been sent a 20% coupon and I think they had marked it down to $24.99 (unless that was the original price)

Cute set, will definitely think twice before I buy another one at full price. Would be cool if after you're all done, there was a way to take all those pieces and make a mini-ship of the caliber of the planet/ship/mini-fig sets.

My guess is that they will finish what has been started and release a BluRay/DVD set of the "Lost Episodes" and call it a day.

Maybe they'll also make a series finale movie that'll be direct-to-video as well.
