TV-9D9 / Re: Ahsoka (SPOILERS possible)

That episode had a lot to think about. A guy on youtube speculated that some of those troopers were dead and brought back to animation by Elsbeth.

So many toy possibilities including the howler. We'll never get a majority of them but i can dream.

So does anyone think that we're likely to get much more from the OWK series?  And what other OWK characters are you hoping to get if we're almost in this next Hasbro TVC "mini-beat"?

Iffy at best. Maybe Qui-Gon Ghost if there's a second series and he's part of it or if Hasbro revisits him for TPM. Tala, too.

There are more characters than I thought that I'd like see made.

My top choices in no particular order:
Gui-Gon, spirit
Tala Durith, Imperial outfit
Leia, child
Luke, child
Fourth Sister
Dinosaur bounty hunter

but I remember some of the MicroMachines playset boxes as being fantastic works of art.

Oh, the memories. Under-appreciated, even by me back in the day.

Hasbro answered a cardback pic question a few months ago (I think a clonetrooper) and how none of the available references would work. From that I see they do put some thought, but to everyone's point, probably not enough resources to do extensive work on the image.

For me, the issue -- not a real problem -- is that collectors could get the figs mixed up if they just glance at the pic.

Customizing Tips and Tricks / Re: 3D Printers
« on: September 14, 2023, 11:38 AM »
I picked up the Ender 3 a couple of months before the 3 Pro came out, mostly because of stars in my eyes.

Short story -- it's still boxed up.  :-X

I've downloaded a lot of files from Tinkercad and plan to print them eventually. There are a lot of really nice models that i doubt Hasbro will ever green light. I've even thought about getting a small resin printer for the figures. But first things first...

Correction: Oops, that's Thingiverse, not Tinkercad.

Thanks, Nick.

Is it the 19th, which the article states early? They also state the 14th at 1pm Eastern at the end.  ??? I suppose check both days.

I don't know if it's head canon or head up their ass. People should accept these different series all have varying styles and they might not like everyone. Say their piece and give everyone else some peace and not clutter up the internet with their excessive kvetching. (Looking at you youtubers and your click rage content.)

I wasn't a fan of the WBW, and I had to brace myself for its use in the show. Maybe i'm just becoming a softie  :P but last night's episode worked for me. I liked it.

Live-action Snips has some moves. Was that the actress, a stunt double, or CGI? Those were some nice acrobatics and the light saber motion was fluid. Definitely would like her as an action figure. According to the 'net, Greenblatt is about 5'2", so i'm not sure plopping a new head on the older figure would work. (But mainly those torso and shoulders on the fig look off to begin with.)

The Vintage Collection / Re: Hasbro Pulse 2023 TBOBF Throne Room Playset

No matter what people think of
TBoB (or other series or the Sequel Trilogy), they have toyriffic characters. Hope Hasbro makes them in 3-3/4", and sooner rather later.

Target needs to get their **** together. I mised out on the preorders.

- bitch #1 -- their roll out was off. Wrong time, etc.
- bitch #2 -- over the next few months i managed to find it available on and get it in my virtual cart twice. Both times it was sold out before I could pay for it. No ******* grace period. Poof. Anyone could grab it from your "cart" at anytime.

I found  it on eBay today from a guy whom I bought from before. It looks like he buys decent quantities of clearanced merchandise from companies/distributors and resells them for much less than retail. At one time he had 47 or 48 of Kenner Colors Fett. I bought his last one... for less than Target's sale price!

- bitch  #3 -- WTF? Assuming he got these stateside, how did he have them and for less than Target and Target is still shipping out?

I totally get Star Wars toys make only a small portion of Target's gross sales. But TVC is only an ounce of what I buy at Target. Groceries, socks, cleaning supplies, toys for kids, books, stationaries, home wares, kitchen supplies. Target is very convenient and I'm not threatening boycott. When purchasing products becomes unreliable, the store gets a reputation and people will look elsewhere.

<end rant>

Yeah, i saw 3 at a SF Bay Area Target last week.

Not crazy about the price, but i wouldn't mind one with IG-11 along with Grogu inside a sack with a thrill-ride expression on his face.

When i saw Teva i just kept wondering when Hasbro would immortalize him in plastic. (TVC scale please.)

Anyone get the feeling one of the good guys is going to die in this series? I thought it was a particular character. Then another had what seemed like a throw-away line. But it nagged at me. That line felt like a foreshadowing, making all feelings about the other character dying a misdirection.

I guess my mind is overthinking.

Wow, lots to spare even with the inevitable handful who back out. I was skeptical. I'm glad i was wrong.

I'll have to watch it again later when I'm away from the noise of the lunch crowd.

Target needs to reinstate ship-to-store.

As for the Tusken set, UPS says Saturday delivery. Target has it scheduled for Friday. If the tracking number to my house stays the same, this shipment bypassed the store distribution model. Well see.

Same with the email for the Tusken Raider and massiff -- release date of Aug 23.

For the colored Fett with white sleeves, another email stated the release date is Sept. 4th.  Saw this at a Target last week but it was priced $24.99. I can wait.

I missed out on the Vintage deco Fett when it went on pre-order. Twice I had the good luck of coming across it when the ol' bounty hunter was available online again.  Both times I had the bad luck of someone else snatching it from my cart. When is Target going to treat virtual carts more like real carts? Mark the item "pending" and give the person with the item in their cart some time -- say 30min -- to buy it.

Next time I'll just follow Rob and pick up his pre-orders as they're cancelled.  :P

Shopdisney sold out of these. I didn't care. I don't need it. I don't want it. Maybe Disney will re-release it in a multi-pack. I looked it up on ebay since i was searching for something else. Saw a whole bunch. I bought one.

I'm weak.

Looks like amazon raised the limit (for those without prime) for free shipping of items shipped by them from $25 to $35.

Are other retailers feeling the same pressure? Oh, well. For the next year it's: Hello, HasbroPulse.
