Wow, after my complaining I completely forgot that today was Skeletor day  :)  Thankfully they still have some, so I got one ordered (along with a Gotham Thug Joker, which I passed on before).

Yeah, we don't need them to reissue Skelly in Feb when the site is probably going to explode already with people trying to grab BC, MAA and TJ.
Except that will cost $8.00 or more for separate shipping.

Exactly - that's what bugs me about it.  I do understand the point, how it's already going to be bogged down on the 15th, but damn...

Got my sub Adora today and did a full-on review of it.  Hope you enjoy.

Did anyone end up with a spare Adora they don't need?   :-\

PM on the way.  :)

Saw that yesterday.  It's great that he's back on the market, but I find it kind of odd.

1) Why weren't these made available in Decmeber when he was first reissued?

2) Why not do it on the 15th so that people can order along with other items and save on shipping?

The last thing I want to do is jump on the Mattel bashing bandwagon, but they sure make some questionable decisions sometimes.

Good likeness to Brad pit, but not exactly the signature look from the movie that I'd have expected.  Still nice.

I have had really good luck so far, but thought my luck had run out.  It opened up at 10:58, I got my three pieces added to the shopping cart, went to check out...then spent 13 minutes waiting for the final checkout screen.  That's a lot of automatic refreshes.  I was afraid I'd miss something, but it was all still available when I finalized (which is good, because Adora is now sold out).

It's mind-boggling that this is still an issue.  They've got a pretty good thing going here.  They make it clear where and when it's available, there's a pretty decent production run for the products, everyone knows that it'll be the 15th each month...to me it's perfect from a collector's standpoint.  But they're certainly not taking the steps to avoid further frustation by fixing what is a major problem for many.

I got my She-Hulk Comiquette and Premium Emma Frost the other day.  I haven't opened the Emma yet...I saw it in person at a local shop and wasn't overly impressed, but mine was already on the way from CSC.  I was hoping it would look better in person.  I'm considering dumping it and cutting my losses but I'll probably end up regretting it.

I do like the She-Hulk quite a bit, despite the fact that mine has Marty Feldman eyes.  :(  I did a full run-down if anyone's interested in seeing it:

I saw the Gigantic Battles 2-packs on sale for $13 and some change today.  Just an FYI for those that have been holding out.

Finally got my wave 9 opened today (minus the two that I'm missing) and got Chemo assembled.  Wow!  I really dig this wave - it's becoming one of my favorites.  Guardian is boring and Wildcat isn't far behind, but I'm *really* liking the robot Mantis, Black Canary, Green Arrow and Deadshot.  Black Adam is really nice as well.  And Chemo...absolutely sweet.  I didn't realize how behemoth he'd be.

OK, I have a question for you all.  I'm relatively new to the DC scene.  It was actually the DC Universe Classics that moved me from having a passing interest to wanting to all-out learn about the DC world.  So obviously I missed out on the DC Super Heroes line that predates the DCUC line.  I finally got a few of these the other day - wave 2 with Supergirl, Superman, Doomsday and Bizarro.  Personally I think they're right on par with the DCUC, or at least very close, but I don't remember hearing much hype or interest surrounding them.  Did I simply miss out on the hype, or is there a legitimate increased interest in DCUC over DCSH?  And if so, why is that?

EDIT:  I'd like to add on that I know that the DCSH line was really only Batman & Superman characters.  I can imagine that might be a primary reason that DCUC is more highly regarded due to its diversity, but thought I'd see if there was something else I'm missing.  :)

Sweet, just got my wave 11 ordered from Mattycollector with no issues.  I decided to give the Retro Green Arrow a shot, too.

On the subject of DCUC, can anyone help me with some wave 8 & 9 figures?  I still need the following:

wave 8 - Gentleman Ghost, Parademon (green), Dr. Fate (gold), Vigilante, Mr. Terrific, Commander Steel
wave 9 - Mantis (human), Wildcat (black)

I've heard people say that wave 9 is sitting around in some places so I thought I'd check.

That's what I figure but didn't want to jump to conclusions.  However, I have seen some pics of her in which she looks sickly skinny.

FYI, Mattycollector.com has up to 25% of DC stuff until 12/7.  It's 15% off if you buy two or three items - 25% off if you buy four or more.  I bucked up and bought a couple of DCUC two-packs I'd been holding off on.  Wish I had more money to take advantage of the discounted JLU 4-packs as well.

If anyone's still seeing Wave 9 hanging around, I'm looking to acquire it.

Wave 10 is showing up a greater abundance here, and they all appear to be selling well except Batman and Power Girl.  Right now the WM down the street from work has SEVEN Batmans, three Power Girls and a Man-Bat.

OK, it took me 20 seconds to order the figures, and yet five days later they haven't even shipped yet?  :|  Anyone getting their Scareglow & He-Man yet?
