Pete, outstanding score...I can only imagine how surprised you must have been to have seen those sitting on the pegs. I think if I ever saw an armored Savage on a peg someplace I would probably have a heart attack.

That's also notable because to my knowledge this is the first confirmed sighting of the wave outside of a K-Mart or Walmart.

I still see a MOC Eeth Koth every week at this one Walmart I check, so if you ever end up with a surplus of any Wave 12 figs, even the crappy astromech, LMK.

Disagree, of all the parade of despicable scumbags in this story, Paterno bears the least culpability. He reported the abuse when it came to his attention and is not in any way, shape, or form a target of the criminal investigation.

I can understand the argument that he should have done more or did not pursue the matter vigorously enough, but that is a moral failing, not a criminal or institutional violation. They really had no grounds to fire him because there was no actual breach of contract on his part.

I don't think he is getting off easy at all, he's being forced to retire under a cloud of disgrace and his legacy will forever be tainted, right or wrong, because of this shameful tragedy. And more to the point, I do believe he is devastated by everything that has happened and will bear a lot of regret and sorrow over this until the day he dies.

Sandusky should simply be beaten to death with a ballpeen hammer, cut into pieces, lit on fire, and dumped into a landfill with the rest of the filth. Abhorrent piece of garbage.

Wow, it's been 24 hours now and I can barely even remember what happened in that episode. Glen got laid, check. Well walker - cool. Lots of hand wringing from Rick.

So how did that dude even end up in the well? Did he just fall in? No one is concerned they have zombies strolling around the property?

Still don't get how the house is supposed to be safe with no motion detectors, fortifications, even a lookout of any kind. And no guns?

Yeah, it seemed clear that Sophia was hiding in that house, wonder why he didn't even mention this to the mom later. Seemed to give up a little quick on that.

Return of Merle should be epic next week. Cannot wait.

Thank you for adding "scamboogery" to the English lexicon, Smokin' Joe. You inspired the name of a not-so-classic Scatterbrain album.

Yeah, that was easily as good as the last episode if not better. Goldmine of toy fodder in these episodes, the fighters in particular look well scaled for the mid-size line.

I think, more than any others, these episodes have been successful in humanizing the clones pretty convincingly. They've definitely been building to this, but the payoff is more satisfying than expected. Credit to the writing.

So the scoop from JTA is that Walmart claims not to have the UPC #'s for any of the 5 exclusives in their system at this point. Hasbro confirms via HunterPR that all 5 items should be on the shelves now. (The gift set has an 11/1 street date)

There have been no sightings of any of these anywhere stateside, so best guess seems to be that Walmart is holding these back until closer to the holidays.

And to complete the celebrity death trifecta:

"Tommy Turner" from Porky's.

Damn, now this:

"You're turning violet, Violet!"

Best movie ever.

Yeah, I play mine pretty frequently, just finished TFU II a few weeks back. Fun stuff.

I just saw in TRU's Wii ad they have Punch Out! Think I will have to pick that up, even if Tyson is not in it anymore.

Glass Joe FTW!

One of the problems I see is that collectors / kids might be getting bored with the line in general - I've yet to even see the mini Y-wing because the pegs at every store are loaded with pegwarmers.

Yep, I haven't been able to find this either, and like the BARC with Jesse previously, after the initial burst it seems to have stopped shipping. VERY frustrating.

I see 1 of 2 things with the Deluxe sets - either there are none on the pegs or they are overflowing.

The main problem IMO was their unbelievably idiotic decision to repack 4 of the sets from the previous packaging - the Naboo Skiff, Freeco, AT-RT, etc. There was absolutely no need for that. Those things were in abundant supply and did not need to be carried forward. Those are the ones I see pegwarming more than anything.

According to their front page, JTA is preparing some kind of report on the fate of the MIA Walmart exclsuives, so hopefully we'll have more info soon on those sets.

I just saw this is on sale for $19.99 now at TRU. Hope it's not too late for a price adjustment...

Saw the Power-Man/Iron Fist comic pack last week for the first time. Had been curious about this since it went up on HTS.

Man, that was one embarassing comic that does not hold up well today.

Found a whole fresh case of Wave 11 at the local Target today, on my birthday.  ;D

Having doubles now of all of them, I left them for the next lucky soul, but it was great to see Seripas hanging on the pegs. Heck, it was great to see all of them.

Still not sure what to do about Wave 12. That whole "last wave in the old packaging" fear has me a little worried.

There was some buzz out of NYCC I believe, that these may be in limbo or scrapped altogether. That seems like a stretch since the tooling, etc is already done and the figures are ready to go. You can still find Scythe and Gearshift on eBay loose.

But no, definitely no domestic sightings yet. Toy Palace has the 2 packs but they are the foreign versions without the actual DVD's.
