After browsing the site, and just going with the assumption they're of legal age, then yes...

Yes I would.

EDIT: Though possibly not all...  Haven't even seen a fraction of what's at the site, but first image I saw was incredible.

Yeah, it's old to an extent...  Warranted...  Sorta fun still.  Old though.  I think it's more that people here have their reasons to KNOW he's viewing it, and that's why it continues more than anything else.

God knows you can't call him a ******bag at Scum when he does something you dn't like.  You can't even have a voice to constructively criticize really.

Happy B-Day Carrie, whever you may roam at this point. :)

The only sleeveless guys in the Nam line were white if I'm not mistaken.  Tanker was one of the ones I'm aware of, and the Tankers WERE available in a bagged 2-pack frm 21st's site (just called and they'd sell them to ya).

One was a tanker and one was a Platoon Leader I think, but both had just their flak vests on...  No black guys though, and the arm joints are the awkward angled joints of old unfortunately.

The Viet Cong and NVA neither one have remvable headgear if I'm not mistaken.  They were to just be very basic representations of generic enemies.  They suck in that aspect. :(

Also, none of these figures are especially cheap anymore I don't believe.  Nam stuff sorta took off after the line died at TRU unfortunately.  May wanna check around Ebay though, as you never know what you'll get.

I know there's guys clamring for it though.  I never bought into the Nam line myself.

Sorry for the lack of real help there. :(

The only thing for Asian heads I can suggest are the Bespin Guard and Y-Wing Pilot from the 3-pack.  And I'm sure you're tired of using those 2 probably and that's why you asked.  :)

There's ONE major design flaw with the late 80 and 1990's T-Birds, and this may be an SC only issue, but I guess between the ground effects/body kit pieces and the actual body I guess they sprayed some kind of foam insulation to dampen road noise.

It absorbs water like a sponge though, and unfortunately these cars are prone to rotting inside out.  Mine's a victim of this and this is its only major flaw for a car with 158k+ miles on it.  Not bad when you think about it really, and this was a car I can certainly say was NOT well taken care of by previous owners but the engine and tranny hold up.

A quick weld job and I'll be really set.  It's just a matter of me getting off my ass, taking out the whole interior, dropping the gas tank and transmission, and going to work on it.  My old man retired this past week and I think I'll have him to help me...  Maybe.  I know he isn't gonna want this in his garage forever though, so me working on it has been a matter of me having the time to devote to it.   :-\

It's a fun car though.  :)  Very ballsy.

Gotta admit that Snake Eyes in SNow gear's kinda cool though in that pack with the Eskimo!  :)  The Timber blows though.  Where's the mold for the original, ya know?  Using Order as the mold for Timber is terrible looking.

I haven't seen a standard Cobra Trooper figure since about '86 or so.

You sir missed the Cobra Forces 6-pack.

2 Non-Coms and 4 enlisted grunts, all with unique hair (eyebrow) colors and one is a black dude.  Very cool.  ALl using the oold molds though the heads look different I think.

Anyway, a cool set.  Something Star Wars desperately needs at the same price with Stormtroopers and other figures as "ultimate" versions of them arise.

Yeah I think nobody was actually "doubting" him in the sense that they were out and out SURE he did this with malicious intent, but his random spewing of "I'm in the State Police", "I'll get a Signed Afidavit that it's not tampered with by experts...", "I'm thinking of filing suit against those who warned bidders in my auction" remarks just had everyone basically looking at him as a jerk.

Not to mention, he's selling hotwheels on custom cardbacks as well I guess...  That doesn't bode well for his credibility on resealing something and selling it...  If I'm not mistaken he possibly denied even being capable of doing that?

Anyway, I think the point is more that he simplyd idn't WANT to take that down after being told it's a fake...  Whether he did it himself or not, he was reluctant to take the auction down, didn't like the discussion on it, and lashed out.  To me, he F'd that up himself and brought on the negative attention by replying like a tool instead of saying "I bought it and it' sealed so I just assumed it's an error".

Hmmm, I partly like the idea...  Espeiclaly after seeing Storm Shadow, Snake Eyes, and Firefly, but part of me longs for Hasbro to simply improve the 3.75" line to the point where there's realistic sculpt proportions, increased articulation (wrists, boot tops, and maybe a mid-thigh swivel would be a huge start), and increase the use of features like working holsters and sheaths on the characters.

I'd like the line to stay 3.75" I guess since that's become it's hot scale I think.  12" is so-so...  Especially with their competition.

If the Marvel Legends style ones were less "outrageous" in their sculpt though, and more realistic, I'd maybe change my mind on those then actually.  Seeing as how vehicles are not Joe's focus anymore, maybe it'd be a good idea?

Since you brought this up, I figured I'd make mention on something I read at GH.com forums the other day.

J&R Productions, which is a company that's been casting and reproducing heads, gear, and such for G.I. Joe in 3.75" scale have been SHUT DOWN by Hasbro legal teams.

The owner's trying to work something out currently with Hasbro.

It's a shame because the owner is just trying to give those who enjoy a certain aspect of the hobby (customizers) an outlet that they don't get from Hasbro...  MisterPL makes strong arguments for why it's right of Hasbro to enforce their trademarks, and nobody can argue it's their property to do with as they see fit, but I think in the end it will only serve to hurt them (however minor) as a profitable business, and in the eyes of the consumers who support their product wholeheartedly.

In this day and age of fighting for every sale in the aisles and on the net, I think Hasbro should weigh carefully their decision to let J&R productions continue.  They may just be "cutting off their trademarked nose to spite their face", as it were.

In the end I think they'll deem the situation not worth bothering with to any great extent, and they'll simply tell J&R "no" to everything and one more source to help customizers will go the way of the do-do, unless he does things on the QT.

So these seem to have dried up...  This anyone else's experience?  I haven't seen extras to nab for anyone or I would.  I'm gonna check some KM's closer to the city after school a day this week.  See what I can maybe find there...

My KM's out here are all dried up on the Cantina set though.  They came and went FAST.  I'm glad I didn't hesitate to hit them early and often now.

Are they disappearing out in Cali too?

I'm content enough with the staff because it straightened out and all...  Looks ok so long as I pose him holding it right.

Amanaman's staff I've wanted to do something with though...  Definitely NEEDS redone due to the weight of the skulls and stuff.

I'm wanting to try a cast of it in something more rigid though first.  See if I can't acheive myself what Hasbro was incapable of doing.

Hmmm, Snoova with the Vanilla Ice do.

Sadly, i'd probably take a NEW Snoova if it was to-scale and incorporated some of the more modern features, like "separate" armor pieces (maybe removable), a nicely detailed/painted ax, maybe some soft goods...

What's worse than the auction itself is the way the guy's acting at Rebelscum.  I'll copy/paste some replies he's posted just for the amusement factor involved.

I am the seller of the OTC Luke. I can assure you that it is legit. I am an avid collector and do not wish to pull anything on anyone. I simply have no need for error cards, this is how I found it at the store. In fact I an still looking for the correct version for my collection. This posting and the emails have really upset me. I work for the State Police and am prepared to get signed affidavites from Forensic Scientists to prove the package has not been tampered with. Why would I do such a stupid thing and then put a close up picture on the auction knowing that the true of the true collectors would be looking at it. Give me some credit. I do not have the time to seemlessly open two, inner and outter, packages and then replace a figure and seemlessly reseal them. You should really watch out what hurtful types of things you say on here without doing your homework and working with the sellers. The law states that if someone says or does something that will cause unjust economic loss to someone else that person is lawfully responsible to compensate for the loss. Translation: you could be sued for slander or a harmfull tort. With such powerfull tools as posting boards comes great responsibliy.

NO, I am not going to sue the whole message board. However the guy who emailed those who have bid on the auction telling them that the figure is a fraud could potential have crossed a very sticky line.

You know, this is comeletly rediculous, you all are so right it is not worth is over an ebay auction. You just have no idea what it is like to be accused of doing something you didnt and then to have it turn into this. I would love to post the email I received from one of the posters who was threating me which is the primary reason I have gone a bit off the deepend. If it sells it sells, if not who give a crap. My appologies.

I mean, that's some real verbal diahrea right there.  He was accurate in saying he went off the "deepend" though at least.

My excuse on getting a Greedo was a little lame, but it wrked for me...

I figure there's umpteen Rodians in ANH.  There's at least one other in the Cantina that looks like Greedo and Jabba had a whole little squad of them at the Falcon, so I've just bumped the older Greedo's back as generic "Jabba Goon" or Cantina Patron Fodder.

Like I said, it was an excuse to me...  Helps me visualize them as unique characters instead of Greedo upon Greedo.

I myself have seen one Stormtrooper, and nabbed him because the card's so spiffy.  Saw a TIE Pilot too and skipped him, and now wish I hadn't.

I saw the Bespin Wave all of one time, and boy am I glad I bought 2 CCP's when I did...  I debated doing so because it was the only two they had, but I went ahead and was a little greedy that day...  I figured they'd probably ship again soon as I'd heard other areas had Bespin Wave in abundance.  Then nothing ever resurfaced of that wave.  Very strange.

Dagobah's all over though, and select from it are starting to earn pegwarmer status I believe.

All the while VOTC remains a weird case...  1st wave has remnants that hang around, but there's many (I'd say most) stores in my area that have completely empty VOTC pegs.  The few that do have VOTC are usually TRU's or KM's, and they have Han's and Ben's with a straggler Leia every once in a while.  There's no "abundance" of these figures that I've heard other areas have, they're just scattered here and there.

I hope this means ESB is going to be similarly easy to find for me at some point, and that ROTJ is REAL easy to get then (cross my fingers on that, but I doubt it happens).

Mikey beat me to that one.  Short of a man who killed himself (and can you really trust an insane person's judgement then?), I don't think anyone thinks Courtney Love is hot.

I can't get into random bruises and sickly skin color myself.
