I've been enjoying some retro toy collecting lately. Finally found a MISB JJ Armes figure, made by Ideal in 1976. (still need that boss van)

Even better, I finally bit the bullet and picked up a complete set of the 1980 Filmation Flash Gordon figures. (Minus Vultans wings, but those will be replaced) I've wanted a set of these forever, loved the show as a kid. Only ended up costing me $17 each shipped, not bad at all.

There will be more to come!

I found a good smattering of Wave 5 figs @ Walgreens last night. Might be worth checking if you still need any of these guys.

And I encourage you all to google "Peg Pals". :)

I did as you suggested but all I saw was these little dudes.  ???

And that's probably just as well.

So, I saw GRRM posted something to the effect that someone on the show who is dead is still alive in the books and will have a major role...that has to be Mance Rayder doesn't it?  Jon's plot of bringing Sansa out of Winterfell through Mance/Abel who is the hidden singer isn't resolved

I was just reading last night about a scene they filmed involving Sansa, John, Ramsay Bolton and Littlefinger at Winterfell. Oh, and a giant.  :D

So maybe Baelish plays the role of the facilitator?

Dead person could be the Hound or Lady Stark?

A round fence like they have would deflect a herd without incurring any damage.  Just gotta hole up and keep quiet.

Maybe they could still smell them? LOL

The fence, I dunno, doesn't seem that much sturdier than Alexandria and that thing started to give away pretty quickly when they were massing up. You're not gonna clear many of those guys away with spears either. I think more than anything they've probably just been lucky, maybe even benefited from the same logjam at the quarry.

Can't help but wonder how those dudes managed to wreck all alone on the road in broad daylight too.

It's been a long time since Rick's group made a disastrously bad decision, so I guess they were due. Nice foreshadowing to have Maggie note that there will be a "price." Maybe she, Glenn and the baby can stay home and skip the Negan compound assault impending bloodbath? Please, Kirkman?

I didn't care for this episode, it just feels like they are rushing way too fast now. The attack on Negan's compound should be the season finale. (Especially seeing as how they showrunners have said repeatedly that Negan will not be introduced until the finale)

Just like with the Alexandrites you have to wonder how those idiot Hilltoppers have lasted this long. No fighters? No ammunition? Shady ******bag guy in charge? Seems like one herd wandering through would have ended the whole thing.

When Jesus said "your world is about to get a lot bigger" I guess he really meant to say "we've only met 1 other group the entire time since this outbreak started."  ::) Seems like he is the one living in the micro-universe. Rick's bunch has already met the Claimers, the Termites, the Wolves, the Woodberries, the Alexandrites, etc.

I would think he would have at least mentioned the dude with the tiger? (you can't thrown down with Negan without the Kingdom, right?)

WTF is going on with Abraham?

I really don't like any attempts to make the Empire seem sympathetic. They're galactic Nazis for chrissakes. (Even down to committing genocide as shown this very episode) They kept trying to play that card in Aftermath too, but it just seemed asinine to me. let's try to remember how many sweet innocent babies they blew to bits when they took out Alderaan. But yeah, they're just a bunch of misunderstood sweethearts.  ::)

I know we're not there yet in the timeline but even a dope like Kallus can see what they are all about. The fact that he continues to be a part of it means he is just as bad as the rest if not worse, imho.

I loved all the stuff about the Death Star this week though, just eerie.

I think they have some very limited articulation, but nowhere near the level they do now.

I received my Wave 9 figures from TRU.com yesterday, fantastic effort all around. At least they went out with a bang.

Had one of those rare multi-store success stories today...was beyond psyched to find a 5th Brother at one Walmart and then two Rexes at another location.  ;D

Just need one more 5th Brother to open and I am good to go.

Also picked up two of those brand new 5.5" SW figures from Family Dollar. Both Kanans...one to open and one to keep carded. Interesting concept, it's definitely not in scale with the 6" stuff, and it has even less articulation than the 3&3/4" version. (Head, arms, waist, that's it) odd that these haven't popped up anywhere else yet.

Yeah, it's a kick in the pants for sure, especially with Walgreens and Gamestop clearancing them out and seemingly unlikely to carry this last wave. I ordered a set online and used some rewards points but it was still a lot.

I've been complaining elsewhere but I'll throw it out here too: I think it SUCKS that McF is dropping the 5" TV series line. After all this time you suddenly decide to switch scales? For a bunch of unarticulated statues? NO THANKS.

Slayer, Carcass, Testament tonight.  ;D

Can't imagine any show this year is going to top that!

I saw the new Han last night...first new figure I've seen in months. I can't seem to catch a break on Rex or the 5th Brother though, have been looking everywhere for those two. Every time I see counts change on Brickpicker I race out only to find it was another old wave.  >:(

When you find the mother lode of supplies in a box truck, what you do is drive directly back home via the safest known route - i.e. - the way you just came from since you didn't see any trouble.  You don't continue exploring.  That aggravated me to no end.

Otherwise, pretty strong episode.

I kept thinking the EXACT same thing. They were just asking for trouble.

I don't think they can kill Michonne unless/until the show and/or comic come to an end. Can't kill Rick, Carl or Daryl either. Anyone else I think is probably fair game.

Picked up another Ezra speeder to open...I never bothered to do that with the Scout Bomber but this one seemed like a good candidate and I managed to get it for $15 so why not.

Seems like such a rare treat to see new Rebels stuff too. The show is gonna be over before I ever find old Rex.
