I saw a ton of these in the old wheelbarrow up front at 5 Below today. Looked like a whole lot of Wave 2.

Hey, I just snagged all of wave 2 at Target!

I saw another full case at a different location and alerted my friend who is looking to pick up Boba and Han.

They look terrific, except for leia, who seems as bad in person as I feared. Will post more later when I get home and have time to rip these open.

Stay on Target!   :D

Score! I picked up all of wave 2 between two different toys r us' (the first did not have Leatherback so I had to travel across town). Price has gone up to $16.99 now but they are all incredible figures. Happy hunting to anyone interested!

Is Chuck really Fandral? What happened to the original guy?

Hmm. That sounds sort of cool, except that none of those people were actually IN the Defenders except Luke Cage. But hey, why split hairs when there's money to be made.  ::)

The other sucky thing about this, besides the fact that I will never see them because they air on Netflx, is that Netflix does not do High Definition.

I literally cannot watch TV that is not in HD anymore.

At some point, I figure BD will have to come clean and issue an official statement about this whole debacle. I guess we can only hope the next two movies are runaway hits and generate some interest in the toys. They just have to make the stuff they've shown available somehow, whether it be through subscription service, kickstarter, whatever.

I don't mind her as Sif, but she does not have what it takes to pull off Wonder Woman, IMHO.

Adrianne Palicki was a much better fit.

The Clone Wars '08-'13 / Re: Recent Clone Wars Finds/Purchases
« on: November 5, 2013, 01:42 PM »
Stop the presses!  :P

I came across some interesting finds at Marshall's today. Apparently they are getting back in Clone Wars Class II vehicles again now. I saw and purchased Anakin's Jedi Starfighter, Kit Fisto's Jedi Starfighter, and the Republic Artillery Cannon for $14.99 each. All were cherry boxes in the SOTDS packaging. This was very suprising to me as I'd thought we seen the last of these.

I checked 3 different Marshall's stores at lunch too. The first had the Cannon and Anakin's JSF, the second also had the Cannon plus Kit Fisto's JSF, and the third had nothing but green Yoda packaged stuff.

I wouldn't mind seeing the Swamp Speeder again for sure, or the Jedi Turbo Speeder, or even the Mandalorian Assault Shuttle. There could be some cool stuff showing up out there...curious to hear what other find.

ps - you heard it here first, this will be breaking news on some other site's front page in another week or two I predict.  ::)

Yeah, I agree with Jesse. This hit at a weird transition time where there was a lot of collector dis-connect. It's hard to estimate the impact of them failing to pack in Savage's lightsaber, which was a glaring omission. I personally know a few people who passed on this just for that reason alone. I also think sales were somewhat muted when they decided to release Darth Maul single carded.

If Wave 2 doesn't start showing up in stores by Black Friday I am going to be seriously discouraged.

I personally bought about 13-14 of those battle packs when they hit $5.98 here, I would have kept buying them at that price if I could have found any more. I think I'm down to about 5 left now. I sold most of them but am content to hang onto a couple for future custom projects. (Like swapping out that whack Darth Maul head on the upcoming Mission Series 2-pack)

Darryl was pissed that Bob risked his life and theirs for the bag that only had booze in it, instead of just letting it go. Michonne had the meds.

Thanks, that was pretty much what I surmised, was just worried I had missed something.

Also got confused on why it was such a cluster**** getting out of the Vet school. Why didn't they just go back the way they came?

BTW, Chris Jericho >>> Marilyn Manson

Great episode. Rick TOTALLY saved Carol, that was an act of mercy. I think it was great that he never even entertained the idea of not telling everyone what went down. Keep the group strong. Carol's downfall was exactly what she tried to accuse Rick of - making decisions for the group. She could have easily gone to the Council and explained her rationale befoer kiloing Karen and David. But her whole end-around philosophy is not going to work in a group where trust is paramount right now.

I did not catch her interview on Talking Dead, but I am certain we will see her again. Hopefully not rolling up to the prison in a big-ass tank with the Gov. She didn't exactly put up much a fight as far as getting banished. (Loved how she told Rick she would "handle" Tyreese, sure you would) It seemed like she and Rick sort of arrived at a mutual understanding there at the end.

And what else could he have done really? This really was the ideal solution. You can't try to lie or cover it up, you can't let her stay there after what happened, and you can't just let Tyreese kill her without a lot of bad blood lingering. He took the best option, ultimately IMO.

So how did those two doofuses ever survive that long? I continue to be surprised when they encounter people who seem relatively normal. At this point I feel like everyone scrounging around out on their own would be pretty bad off, mentally, spiritually, emotionally, etc. Good thing dude left the keys in his car.

I don't think I fully grasped the Bob/Darryl beef. Was he pissed that Bob only took the bottle and no meds? Or that he took the bottle at all? I thought Michonne was carrying all the meds they collected. I can't believe Darryl didn't take that bottle and throw it off the roof and tell him to go get it.

Are we supposed to forget that someone was feeding the walkers rats? I keep waiting for them to get back to that.

I got Season 5 on BluRay for my birthday today. I am curious to see if the voice-synching is as noticeably off as has been reported. I hope not, that is inexcusable IMO.

Thanks, a buddy of mine tipped me off that this set showed up at the TRU across town, so I made the long drive tonight and went ahead and picked it up. Today was the last day I could use that 20% off coupon, plus it is my birthday, so I figured what the hell. I can sell off the extras hopefully to defray the cost. Thranduil is a sweet figure no doubt. Hope it is not the last new one we get.
