I snagged a Republic Assault Submarine Class I set at Ross this morning for $8.  ;D

Ever since I saw a similar report over at JTA, I have been stalking these, and it finally paid off.

Oddly, it was there all by itself, no other Class I sets anywhere to be found.

I stopped by 2 other Ross' while I was out but they had nothing, so pretty hit or miss I guess.

Saw these all today for the first time at Walmart. Ugh. Boggles my mind they can crank this stuff out but can't spare any resources for the Clone Wars.

What is the source material for this version of the Gunship? What specifically is this design based on?

At the end? Yeah, weird-o-rama. I was really pulling for the Rick/Tyreese bromance to blossom tonight, guess it was not to be.

The first 6 minutes were complete awesomeness. Epic chaos. And then later I was glad to see them all realize that bringing Merle back into the group was just not possible. That's the kind of weak crap lesser shows would throw together just for the contrived drama. Welcome to your new spin-off show "Walking Dixons"...

Not sure I am getting what's up between Glenn and Maggie. Just general PTSD tension? Seems like he was more pissed at Rick, which again seems kind of misplaced.

Those 2 white dudes with Tyreese and his lady look like some prime walkerbait.

Crazy-ass Rick though, what can you say...let's hope this does not last long because I was just getting used to born-again badass Rick.

Best hour I spend in front of the TV all week!

Found it...this was what I was thinking of Pete, from Hasbro's 2013 Product Information:

STAR WARSŪSAGA LEGENDS 3.75-INCH ACTION FIGURES
(Approximate retail price: $5.99; Ages: 4 & up; Available: Fall 2013)
These STAR WARS 3.75-inch action figures include the same high quality design kids have been enjoying for years, but now at a new lower price. The line includes characters from the STAR WARS movies as well as the STAR WARS: The Clone Wars animated series. Each sold separately.

So, who knows really? Sounds like they are kind of all over the place with their info right now...

Ah....ok, I was wondering who the CSI Droid was a parody of...makes perfect sense now. Ha.

We've definitely seen the Droid Tri-fighters before, they were in the arc where Ventress got betrayed by Dooku. Not sure about the Jedi ships though, seemed familiar somehow.

Agree the writing was weak, their whole investigation was based on someone observed working around the crime scene, which is part of their normal duties anyway? It's not like the guy was an accountant and was just hanging around the hangars for no reason. Total alien profiling! Sure, blame the big freaky cyclops dude. Couldn't have been his improbably hot wife, right?

I don't even get why everyone thought a Jedi was responsible when there wasn't an iota of evidence to indicate this.

The Barriss Offee cameo was cute, but really for me, the coolest thing in the whole freaking episode were those armored enforcer dudes standing in the background in the Cin Drallig scene. WTF were those bad-asses?!?! They looked like some kind of heavy armored Jedi super commandos, or some kind of weird Jedi-esque Royal Guards.

They would have made for one of the coolest action figures ever in this line, IMO.  :'(

I thought they said any new CW figures would be released in the Saga Legends line after Rex and Mace came out in the Black Series?

I know I read that somewhere.

How much did the case run???

Well, with the shipping and conversion from Euros, my Wave 4 Legends case came to roughly $200, if he got them from Toy Palace, they probably cost him about the same for the CW case.

I think we'll still see the Yoda packaged stuff here in the US, so while I will admin I'm considering doing what McMetal did, I'm willing to wait until that Yoda look street date hits - wasn't it this week or next?

Hey Pete, yeah it was Toy Palace, I have always had good experiences with them on previous orders, mostly for other Clone Wars Euro-exclusives. You're right on with the case estimate too.

I know of at least 2 Targets locally that reset early (2/11 is the actual street date) but neither of them put out any new figures, nor even any restocks of Maul packaged CW stuff. Nor have I seen any other reports from around the 'net of people finding new figures post-reset. So while I am hopeful we see these too, there don't seem to have been an early sightings yet.

How much did the case run???

It came to around $200 with the shipping, current Euro exchange rate, etc. Pre-orders are not expected to be filled prior to 2/28, so that allows me a couple of weeks to try and confirm if these are ever really going to show up in the US or not. If so, I can always cancel my pre-order. So that makes me feel a little better at least.

I'd much rather have these in the US packaging without all the multilingual stuff on there, but it remains to be seen if that is even an option or not.

What R4 is that? Not the animated one right?

Why wouldn't the Movie Heroes and Clone Wars figures ship as well? This is good news. While I know the ship has sailed on the last wave of Maul-packaging MH figures, I find it very hard to believe they wouldn't just ship a single wave for a couple of months just to have product in the stores until the Vader-packaging stuff kicks in this summer.

I hope so too man, but the thing is though, I feel like if that was going to happen, we would already be seeing the Maul-packaged figures getting clearanced, like how the TVC line is at Target right now. The fact that no stores seem to have any particular desire to A) move the old stock, or B) order any new stock, seems to point to a protracted stalement on the pegs for the next few months. Add that to the fact that none of the Targets that have recently reset have stocked new CW figures, and I think it's sort of a bleak outlook.

Then again, I'm not sure the Yoda packaged stuff ever got as far as having a DPCI assigned, so who knows. Maybe they would just throw the new stuff up with the old.

Righteous outrage aside, there still seems to be a lot of contradictory info out there. We know that Wave 1 is out in Europe, and some of the same figures will eventually show up in the new Saga Legends line. Other than that, who knows what to believe? Are there are US packaged ones out there? If they wind up releasing CW repaints down the road, might they possibly used the re-use the previous animated sculpts? Seeing as how they would have already established the precedent of releasing animated styled stuff in this new line? (I would guess probably not based on some of the other comments I have read coming out today)

Aw, crap.   ::)

Off to eBay to grab that Rex, 501st Jetpack trooper.    >:(

Good luck finding one, there are none out there, even on ebay.UK, where these have already started hitting retail stores.

I would like to know definitively if any of these Wave 1 figures were ever actually produced in US packaging or not. Are these going to suddenly turn up at TJ Maxx six months from now?

edit: screw it, I just ordered a case from Germany, I'm not messing around and missing out on these....better safe than sorry, the way things have been going these could end up being the rarest figures of the line.
