Apparently Brian's Toys is shipping these, a couple folks on Rebelscum have actually received them and have posted pics!

I pre-ordered mine from SWShop...sure would make a nice Christmas present, but they still show it as shipping in January :(

Saga Collection '06 / Re: Target "Mace Windu's Squadron" Battle Pack

I  scored one of these today at Target.  Luckily there were enough left on the shelf to be able to pick and choose.  Got one with minimal damage to the hands and weapons...though one blaster was still bent to hell. At least I got a good rifle on the commander.  I was on the fence on this set until I saw it in person.  Wasn't too thrilled about another monkey arms Mace, but the cloak hides it well.  The prospect of purple clones didn't excite me too much either, but they are more of a metallic purple...the effect is actually pretty cool!

Other Toy Lines / Battlestar Galactica Toys (DST, Hasbro, & Joyride)

Noticed that there was no thread for Battlestar Galactica toys here?  What gives?

Due to the popularity of the new series (which rules BTW), the number of BSG collectibles have been on the rise.  Majestic Studios amkes some pretty nice 12" figures, Joyride Studios has done some very nice Action Fleet style ships, and of course Hasbro has done the Titanium ships, has the upcoming Titanium Cylon figure, and has made allusions to a possible action figure line in a couple Q&As (I really hope this one comes to pass).

Anyway, is anybody on here collecting BSG stuff too?  I have Majestic's Apollo, Starbuck, and Cylon 12" figures from the classic series (pretty nice...not quite Sideshow, but still good), I have a Joyride Cylon Raider (awesome), and all the BSG Titaniums.

Actually, I finally discovered them after exhaustive seaching...they were called "NFL Action Team Mates".  Here's a link to the site I found...

NFL Action Team Mates

I also picked up a couple of the Gracelyn figures a few days ago, Ben Rothlisberger and Jerome Bettis.  Haven't opened em up yet as my wife put them away for Christmas ::)

Hands down one of (if not THE) best figures of the past year!  I really love this one.  Also, he makes a pretty good stand in for the Death Star Trooper as the POTF2 Death Star Trooper's helemt fits pretty nicely on him.

Actually, they are warming the shelves at my local TRU, along with Luke's X-Wing.  I made the right choice (which seldom seems to happen) in picking up the TRU TIE Fighter when I had a choice between the three...the TIE is gone form the shelves, but they have plenty of the other two.

I agree, especially with them releaseing the "Early Bird" set.  Would be nice if they finished off those figures pictured on the backdrop...and I really thought they were headed in that direction.

The Death Squad Commander is long overdue and one of my favorite vintage figures....and none of that "Star Destroyer Commander" crap either.

As for the Jawa, we paid full price for VOTC R2 and Yoda didn't we?  I'd pay the $10 for the definitve Jawa with softgoods cape...heck, they could even release a VOTC vinyl cape Jawa for nostalgia's sake ala the tall, blue Snaggletooth from the K-Mart Cantina set.

Wow!  I am so happy that I was too busy at work today to check the forums!  The Air Force kind of frowns on such things...not that surfing Star Wars collecting sites is highly encouraged either ;)

Well...I always reserve judgement until I actually have the figure in hand, but I hear ya, it will definitely be the best Mace yet.

I gotta say, Padme looks pretty good for a re-hash/re-tool.  Is this a new head sculpt?

I saw these in WalMart and almost got a couple.  I left them there though.  If they had a Cowboy in the lineup I would have.

I saw:

Favre (however you spell it)
Randy Moss
Peyton Manning
Brian Urlacher
Deion Sanders (in Baltimore Ravens)
T.O. (in Eagles uni)
Ray Lewis (I think)
Pennington (the NY Jets QB I think)

A couple of other guys I don't recognize even though I love the NFL...but like I Cowboys so I passed.

The figs were about 4.5 inches or taller.  The Linebackers were bigger than the QB's  TO was taller than Deion there is some variety to scaling.

I will definately snag any Dallas players or Former Texas Tech Red Raiders (Zac Thomas has the only chance)....

I didn't know if anybody saw these..the NFL type figure I got was back in the day when they were in the Sears or Penny's Christmas WIsh Book and you put the numbers on yourself....

They are more articulated than the Hoth Wave (except ATAT driver)...

Saw them at Wal Mart.

Paul, do you have any idea who made those JC Penny figures you are talking about?  My Mom had one (Pittsburgh Steeler) and it got lost in a move.  I would love to try to track one down on eBay or something, but have no idea what they were called or what company made them.

I'm pretty psyched about this set too.   Padme looks good to me from what we can see.  Can't wait to see clearer pics.

I do wish we had also gotten an animated Padme before they decided to abandon that line.
