Wow, sorry to hear you dislike him so much.  I absolutely love this figure, I can't get enough of it.

I ordered from Toyrocket...hopefully they will be shipping soon as well.  When you add in the price of gas, running around trying to find these, it all evens out in the end i think.  Plus, I don't have to stress out about finding them now...the TLC wave was a @#$% to track down and I really just got lucky on a few of them.

It's starting to get to be leak time. I wonder how soon until someone scores one of these babies?

I picked one up today at Target!

Where at? (Just the city, you don't have to be specific, in case the Big H is watching, heh heh.)

San Antonio.  Haven't gotten to open it yet as it is my birthday present...tomorrow.  Just happy that I got it in time to actually have on my birthday instead of having to wait two more weeks.

The crate decals and instructions were originally posted by "soloboy5" over on the Cool Toy Review forums.  I agree, these are fantastic!  I used the decals and some balsa wood to create my own custom Ark crate:

He has also come up with a pretty cool Staff of Ra as well!

You do know we're already getting some of this stuff, right?

Indeed...  I'm just kind of giving a general wishlist, regardless of it being confirmed.  I don't know if half of what I want is what I'll see though.  I'm really most curious about this line's life expectancy.  I think it could really do well in limited capacity.  It'll never see the numbers Star Wars does in a year I think, but what I mean is that with a set # (20 maybe?) of figures a year or something, I could see it really doing well for a longer period of time.  Especially if there's parts sharing, etc.

Looks like 30 figures next year according to the Hasbro Q&A at Boba's Bounty:
1. For those of us who like to budget in advance, about how many new Star Wars figures will we be seeing in 2008? Indiana Jones?

It's too early to give totals, but in next year's "Saga" line (including Spring 30th and the follow-up line) you can expect about the same as this year, perhaps a bit fewer as we make room for Clone Wars. The Clone Wars details are being kept under wraps, but it will be a solid showing. Finally, on IJ, we are looking at close to 30 basic figures....strong support for all four IJ films over the course of the year.

Quote year ever

isnt that what everyone was saying about this year? :-\

Nobody can rain on my parade ;D  I have been waiting for some decent Indy toys ever since the vintage line died.  Between Hasbro's line and Sideshow's as well as all the great SW stuff coming next year it will be an awesome year for me!

Sorry to hear about the woes up north though.  I was in Europe (Germany and England) during the ESB, ROTJ, Raiders, and Temple of Doom days and trying to collect over there was a major headache, so I can defintiely feel your pain.

Put me down for all of the Indy stuff!  The 3.75" look awesome and I'll even pick up the "Playskool" figures.  Heck, that 12" Hasbro Indy doesn't look half bad either!  Though I am sure SS will easily top it, I will definitely be picking one up! year ever ;D

I was probably going to pass on this one anyway, but now it is definite!  Not impressed at all.

I display my boxes behind the respective figure for now...until I run out of space that is.  I'll post a pic later on.

Well, pics from comic-con look awesome!  Only minor nit-pick I have is the inaccurate collar on his jacket...other than that...

The Obi-Wan in question appears to be the April 23rd basic release from the 2002 line (the one with the Assassin Droid and the metal hand), to me at least.

Look closer... it's the Acklay Battle version

Ah, so it is.  Guess my eyes aren't what they used to be.  I was mistaking the belt for that bandolier thingy on the CW Obi-Wan and didn't even see the spear.  Still a pass for me...and what about that Anakin?  Is it "slice and dice" Ani?

A definite pass for me, thought it is great for those that never got the beasts the first time around I guess.  Is that another repack of the Clone Wars Obi-Wan and "slice and dice" Anakin?  Hard to see in that pic.  Wouldn't the Obi-Wan with spear have made more sense?  Not that it was a great figure but at least it is scene specific.

Mine are definitely looser than the two Clone Wars ones I picked up (mainly the head), but not as bad as some folks have mentioned.  I wonder what the deal is?  I wish we could have gotten the larger blaster rifle with these guys too...between these and the Elite Clones I am running out of extras.
