You could aways cut off Bib's tails and add them to Mace's head.

Customizing Tips and Tricks / Re: Wax Vs. Clay

I think waxing is going to be the next step in my customizing sickness. I'm getting better at casting and figuring out portions. Soon I will need a new skill to master.

True, there are bigger special versions of the microman. They come painted, with weapons and gear. They even come with differnt character heads. The ones I'm talking about are the Material Force sets are just blank artist figure studies that are exclusive to TRU in Japan and these are the only size. These are made for customizing.

The web site has tons of pictures of other Microman figures.

There is only one Microman size. He is 4" tall. The Microladies actually come in four chest sizes. (S,M,L,XL) The XL is pretty unusable for most applications.

The Microsisters are a little shorter than the microlady. MicroSisters are 3 3/4" while the MicroLadies are 4". There are a little better jointed but look more childlike at least to me. Here are pictures of MicroSisters and MicroLadies.

Of course, here is the Microman.

Modern Classifieds / FS: VTSC Biker Scout

I have an extra Biker Scout with pops that I need to get rid of for cost plus shipping. Money order only. $13 plus $4.05 ship.

Yah, I wasted too much silcone on this. Now I have to buy more. That's the hardest part for me is figuring out how much I need and to get the portions right.

Silcone rubber gets used very quickly. Also, a good selection of high quality paints. Brush cleaner is something I'm always out of. How about a set of Micromen, MicroLadies and MicroSisters?

Ok. I got the upper part of the mold made and casted my pieces. To make the upper mold, I removed the locking marbles and covered the entire surface with a lite coat of Vaseline. I mixed up the silicone and poured it in. I just barely lucked out because the torso was thickest piece to cast. The silicone barely covered it.

The first time thru I didn't mix A&B casting plastic in enough of the correct proportion so half the part came out a little mushie.

I re-casted them again. This time, I made sure A&B were well mixed together before I poured into the upper mold. Then I poured it into the bottom mold and waited a minute for the plastic to start set. Then I put both pieces together and locked them with the marble holes I made originally.

After waiting about a half hour, I opened the mold. As you can see the pieces are stuck together with extra plastic. I used strong scissors to cut the pieces the apart and sanded them with my dremel.

Here are the new casted pieces next to their original.

Now I've got to prime the pieces white. After than I will start removing the armor from the casted plastic with my dremel. The primed white will make it easier to see what I am cutting.

Darn. Your right about the faceplate. I wish I though of that. I hope it doesn't turn out too bad.

I don't know how well the balloons hold paint. I'm sure it differs by brand and label. Best way to know is to try it. I was actually planning on using custom decals for the patches instead of paint.

Wait a minute! These aren't Micromen!  :o Where are your latest microman customs? You got me addicted to these things. Where's yours???  >:(    ;)

Anyway, I really like the cleaness of the Clone Constabulatory Officer.  Very simple and effective. That side show luke looks great in his new poncho. Too bad he has perment suprised look on his face.
