So, how may of these do you think actually got sold today? I've been sitting here for no less than a solid hour straight, doing nothing but clicking the "add to cart" button, only to be told time and time again

So do you think it's actually working, and there are some people who are actually able to get in and order these, and that's wjy I keep getting that message, or is it just offline and not working at all, and they don't feel like giving me any different message?

I don't think it's working.  Not regularly anyway.  I got to view my cart.  Once.  In four hours.  Most of the time I was not able to view cart and clicking that option indicated the site was down. 

As to how many got sold, well the short answer is one less than I'd like, but many more than I want.  Couple of hundred maybe before it crapped out?  I haven't seen any reports of anyone except the smart earlybirds getting in.  We should be ok for a while.  I'd just like to get one today is all.

Site just sort of kicked in right about 4 minutes ago.  A few really painful delays, but I got the screen saying card approved and item ready to ship.  Now we'll wait for the confirmation email.

There are people with it on ebay already - BIN $150. Doesn't sound like a bad idea at this point. Instead of wasting another entire day in front of this stupid machine hitting the F5 key over and over to see if this stupid site is working yet

OK, I was able to get in and place the order... or at least I think I was. I put my credit card info in, and click continue - and it tells me my cart is empty 

It looks like my card was charged. It's a debit card, and I checked my online bank, and it looks as if there is a hold on the right amount ($50.03 after shipping) but I didn't get any kind of email confirmation or anything like that

I don't think anyone has received an email confirmation thus far. May happen when they ship I guess.

After I placed my information, it came up as:

Thank you for your order! Thank you for ordering from Gentle Giants! Bill to: Blah...blah...blah.

Gave me all the pricing information then:

You credit card has been approved an your order is awaiting shipment.

Hell, they can't even spell your! 

That was the last page me thinks.
