Actually, I don't have as much catching up as you think I do. Well, not for the regular releases. I have the entire series 1 and 2...

Really...?  Well then why the hell don't you come and play with us more often here in ye' olde Kubrick thread then, eh Jim?!  Did you snag an Early Bird set too, or do we need to track you down one of those as well?

At least you can't break things in your house with Kubrick figures, huh?!  Or can you...??   :P

Nope. No early bird set, yet. And with prices rising, I don't see that set joining my collection anytime soon.  :'(

And I bet if I threw a Kubrick at something hard enough, it would break something.  :P

I think the final cost of the Endor Kubricks will be around $60-70 shipped depending on the exchange rate at the time.. I just want to cover all my costs, including PayPal etc. Im not going to mark them up at all. They are going to be plentiful on eBay and like the 2nd wave of the carded Lukes, sellers will be trying to get them off their hands with a mimumum of a mark up.

The droids R2-D2 is a different deal.  Sorry,  I can't make any promises to anyone on that one. I'm not even sure I'll get one myself.

Cool.  Thanks for the scoop Simon.  I'll get my wallet ready!   :P

So, have you started planning that covert infiltration into Medicom's headquarters yet like I asked you, to figure out what's in Series 3?  Please do hurry up with that, as I'm growing impatient...  Thanks.   :-*

Thanks again for helping us out Simon.   :)  I just posted my collection pics in the collections thread.  Feel free to check it out.  Some nice Medicom pieces will be added shortly.   ;D

Well I have a crack team of Australian beer drinking hooligans throwing empty beer cans at Medicoms front door, a few dingos sniffing around the front fence and Steve Erwin (aka the Crocodile Hunter) will be entering shortly to wrestle some info out of the Medicam boss. I am of course controlling the operation for the bar across the street. We should have the Series 3 info any day now.

I think this is exactly what I was trying to indicate is that the costs you were charging are really nothing more than cost and shipping.  I sure hope I got that across.

Sorry, but I refuse to accept the other band member as a chase piece.  It's the same figure with a different instrument.  Not worth the effort or so sayeth the incompleteist. :-*

Me neither, but I did get the other one just for the sake of the instruments (and gave away the figure). There are 6 different instruments in total.

Sound like Brent & I but were Hosers!  ;D

Anyone know if the production numbers of the Early Bird Set were ever released?   ???

Not that I've ever heard of Padawan, though judging by the relatively low number of these on the market, and the still-holding, if not climbing price of these, I'd say it wasn't anything close to the amounts put out for the regular Series 1 or 2 releases.  It almost seems like the Early Bird set was some type of limited exclusive or something...

Maybe Simon has a better idea on this issue though.

Sweet!  If I haven't said it before, I'll say it now Padawan, you have an awesome collection of Kubricks

I'm hoping those three packs (T3 and Back to the Future) start coming for SW too...

Very nice. :)

So would you want SW 3 packs to be loosely based on the old Cinema Scenes?

Final Jedi Duel with Vader, Luke, Emperor?

What other scenes would be suitable?  Not really keen on some of them.  I just don't need to see Kubrick/Tomy do Mynock Hunt, Jabba's Dancers, Skiff Guards, Purchase of the Droids (too many Luke's).  I guess the Cantina set and Rebel pilots would be cool though.
