The last 2 waves talked. Each had @ 3-4 lines to say. Do these talk? Maybe they are less money because they are just figures and don't talk?

I'd say you're exactly right - they're too inexpensive to be as large as the previous waves and likely don't talk either.

Judging by those pictures (which is difficult) I would guess these are no bigger than 3-4" tall. About the size of the burger king toys, maybe even a bit less. They are pretty cool, and cheap, but I just don't know that I need them.
Maybe if my Kubrick dealer is ordering some, I will get in on it.   ;)

I was looking at the listing for these from Robby.jp (item code 10082542 if you happen to be a member) and noticed they list Hasbro as the manufacturer.  It may just be an a mistake - it seems strange that Hasbro would make a product for release only in Japan.

These look pretty neat and being blind boxed is cool which means that there will probably be a chase...

Methinks you're right.  The listing at Robby describes them as follows: "5 kinds items contains 12 pcs randomly".  A box contains 12 pcs, and a carton contains 2 boxes (24 pieces).  Perhaps one of the figures in the pic will be a chase...

Yeah, I still have an order pending from RoBBy, so they should still be coming.

Some potentially bad news for those interested in this line.  My order was cancelled by the Robby.jp (a Japanese wholesaler) -- if they can't get them, I don't think it bodes well for the future of these figures.

I think Robby is losing interest in its North American customers since Ryo left.  I got boned almost completely by them on a large order of TAC figures.  They were going to be the same price shipped here as I could get locally, plus they were supposed to arrive about a month or two prior (Japanese retailers have exact street dates for figure release).  So far I got one figure and they've cancelled a couple, but I want them to cancel the rest since they've long since been released in Canada.

I think they'll be fine still for Kubricks but since Ryo left I've not been impressed with the service. :-\

The latest batch of the deformed figures are now listed on TOMY's Japan Star Wars Site with a February 2008 date.

Also, it seems as though there are definitely two chase pieces:

Kube collecting is out of control and too rich for my blood these days.
Time for more Koto magnets and some of these:

I think these are very cool!
