This is an insane trend.
Kube collecting is out of control and too rich for my blood these days.
Time for more Koto magnets and some of these:

I think these are very cool!

Yeah, I'm a little tempted by those, although I'm not sure how they will look and feel in person.

I own a full set of these, including the K-3PO.  I have a set available for anyone that's interested :-X  At least I'm fairly sure it's those, if those are the Deformed figures collection 1.

I just ordered a box of 12, didn't get them yet so I'm not sure what Chase I'll get.

At the risk of continuing to derail this thread.... so what exactly are those little figures?  They look sort of like a combination of the larger superdeformed figures and Galatic Hero figures.  I kind of like them.

EDIT:  Now that this thread was properly moved my post doesnt' make as much sense.

For those of you that actually got some of these.  Where did you order them?  I'd be interested in getting a Yoda for sure.

My friend in Japan sent me the Stormie.
I also ordered a box of 12 from BBTS.
The Stormie was about $5 plus shipping from Japan.
The box of 12 from BBTS was rounded out to $74 shipped USPS, so when you think of how much shipping might be from Japan, this price didn't seem so bad...unless anyone out there knows of a better deal I missed.
I saw HLJ mentioned when I checked this thread out for the first time today but didn't hit the link.

So I take it these don't talk or light up at all like the last set of super deformed figures that were available from Hasbro (mainly at K-mart)? Do they have little speaker holes in the back...like the mold might originally have been meant for a speaker?

These are much smaller than the palm talkers, about half the size.  So no modifications of the sort.

I got mine for about $5 less from Robby.jp.

Didn't know about the R2-Q5 chase piece.  Daggnabbit, now I have to go looking for that.

I can fire off a set to someone for about $40 shipped.  No chase.

If only there were some sort of Star Wars news site you could read to find out about these things...  :-X

While you are chasing R2Q5, watch for the 3rd chase too - Shadow Stormie:

Just heard back from my friend in Japan about the SD Shadow Stormie:

It's Hyper Hobby Exclusive SD BH Stormie .
$3.00 at collector's Toy Shop.

Heard from Echo Base that when you buy the May issue of Hyper Hobby you get this figure as a gift, this may be what my friend meant, things get lost in translation.

I ordered a box from Robby.jp too, but they've pretty much stopped sending me anything I order.  I guess I can understand that since I'm small peanuts compared to real store orders.  It's probably just as well since I don't really need another line to collect.

But if anyone has an extra Vader I'd be interested. :)

Just order 15-20 Kubrick Master Cases per year - they treat you really well if you do that...  :P

No doubt, they probably know you on a first name basis.  ;)
