I broke down and bought a set on ebay for $25 more including that shipping, not too horrendous. With gas prices as high as they are I just do not have the desire to hunt for these and come up empty handed burning fuel. The WM in Chicago suck, you literally have to go everyday at opening to beat the scalpers. This is a first for me but in the words of Obi-Wan "I am getting too old for this sort of thing".

I still need the WM Wookie Comic pack so if anyone finds a spare LMK. I will also have another Han/R-3P0 set if anyone needs that one. More than happy to trade or hold for anyone. Just PM me.

I've seen some local reports of these showing up.  Looking forward to scoring them quickly so that I can gear up for July.

BTW, these are technically 30AC.  They're supposed to be among the last offerings of that line, acting as something of a bridge to the Legacy Collection with the Droid Factory concept.

Nick is 100% correct, the packaging is more akin to the Order-66 sets which closely match the colors and decoration of stuff in the TAC line. Even though these sets feature the "Droid Factory" concept, they do not sport the blue/white packaging that will be on all Legacy Collection items.

found them all at Walmart today.   They were on a end cap display.  found all the comic packs too but only picked up the wookie/clone trooper set.   open them all up and checking them out.  so far not happy with the Han Hoth, and the Vader.   Kit fisto has the new wire jedi robes.  and so glad they swapped the luke head.  But I was so looking forward to have him riding the short X-wing

So the Pilot Luke looks ok?  I really want that figure for my X-wing display and the R2 looks awesome.

I really want to stop using the POTJ Pilot Luke.
This is the way.

I have spoken.

The Pilot Luke is basically the same as the VTSC figure.  Hasbro stated in the Q&A's that the "celebratory looking Luke" had been vetoed by Lucas Licensing.

Is the only difference the color of the leg straps?

Pretty much.  These are silver.  The original VTSC figure had grey leg straps.

How is that possible? That's faster than Target.

I bought them on ebay and got them in the mail yesterday and these sets rock. I was extra pleasantly surprised by Kit Fisto's new deco he really looks good.

You should pick up the others and trade your spares to those of us who have no chance of finding anything at their own craptastic Wal-Marts.   ;)
