Recent Clone Wars Finds/Purchases

I found CW wave 5 (one of each) at TRU last weekend, and picked up Kit Fisto and Jar Jar.  I was tempted to grab the other two as well, but if I'm going to cut back I figured clone (that aren't "name" clones)/battle droid repaints might be the way to go.  I might grab them later, we'll see.

Found Wave 5 at Target yesterday.  First time I ever walked away without buying something.  I will get the BD and the Trooper eventually, but I've found myself more focused on vintage lately.  Also, I went to preorder the Hoth wave on HTS, and the tally was $60.  I looked at that and went, "I don't care THAT much" and left them too.

Found a set of Wave 5 and two of the Jabba battle packs recently.

I really like this Wave, although my Kit Fisto seems to have legs of two different lengths, so I need to put him on a figure stand in order to get him to remain standing. Otherwise I think it's a great figure in terms of sculpt.

I love the Jabba BP!

I noticed the same thing with the Kit Fisto I picked up.  He stands fine (without the jetpack on), but he does seem to have a "gangsta lean" to him .

I saw the Vulture Droid and Magna fighter at Target. Didn't pick either up.

Picked up an opener Magnaguard Fighter, a MIB Magnaguard Fighter and a MIB Vulture Droid today.

The Magnaguard Fighter is fantastic!

Did the same at a WalMart in near York, PA.  Only one of each on the shelf and the prices weren't in the system yet.  Manager let me have them for $10 each!  What a deal!

I was at one Target yesterday and noticed that it still had vehicles at $19.99. I couldn't resist picking a couple up to do some catching up, so I bought Obi-Wan's Jedi Starfighter and the Vulture Droid.

Scored the Anakin fighter today at a local Target.  I was surprised that it rang up at $19.99.

Had a rather surprising afternoon yesterday at the local Target.  Found some of the new animated CW figures in the new packaging on the pegs; grabbed one each of the Jawas two-pack, "Heavy Assault" Super Battle Droid, Space Suit Obi-Wan, SA Yoda, Whorm Loathsom, 4A-7 (who comes with a mini-hologram of Anakin and Ahsoka putting Rotta in the backpack that I hadn't seen in the photos so far), the ARF Trooper (whose hips are fixed from the awful stance in the early photos), and a Commando Droid.  I left another Jawa set and Commando Droid behind, along with a recarded Grievous, but I don't know who the 12th figure was (I'm assuming Commander Gree).

I hadn't seen anything about these showing up anywhere yet (I saw a story on Yakface that some different figures were found on the west coast at a Target when I got home), but I guess the hunt is on again.

Found all those (except the Jawas... grr) at my Target.  Left them all.  The Jawas are all that really interest me.
