wave 7 should have been more ANH focused: perhaps teh new imperial technician, a new Tarkin
but, itīs fine... all respect for the pt figures (they are fine)

No, no. You're on to something. I'm a fan of the themed waves too. And no need to give any respect for the PT figures. >:D

Thanks Anton... I was probably thinking in figures for such a themed wave like anh Jabba henchmen from docking bay 94, a new imperial gunner, perhaps another human denizen from Chalmun Cantina.

Pre-orders say June...  I could easily see mid May though considering we're seeing the Fleet Trooper on Ebay.  That seems to usually indicate not too far off...  Then again those Yavin Techs came and went, and still no sign of that Hangar Tech w/Sled at TRU yet.

Jayson, good eye on the Fleet Trooper hat...  They didn't color it tan ultimately, but they're definitely there.

I can't find it on Wookieepedia but Leia's troops from the Tantive IV had hats on too, in I believe either Rebellion or Empire series.  Theirs, I thought anyway, were grey.  I'm wondering if this is a hybrid hat then, and that's why the toy's is grey?  Or if Hasbro just liked grey better maybe and decided not to go with the tan?

Ultimately it's probably a situation where they ran out of helmets, but still neat to put an image to the hat at this point.

Gotta be photoshopped... notice Luke's skin tone...it is not Goth Pale like the figure we got.   :)

I get why they went with the plastic cloak, the cloak is so essential to this character. If it did not sit right it really would throw off of the character. The only aspect that I am not digging (but is easily fixable via pop/swap) is the off color of the cloth dress compared to the rest of the outfit. Otherwise I think this figure looks great. I will order some if he gets more RFT I can get to....

I think Barriss looks ok too, I'm just a little disappointed we'll now have this one Jedi with an immovable robe.  I would've much preferred softgoods I think, regardless...  A little poof would've been appreciated I think, just to have a figure not hindered by a robe.  I'm really surprised they went plastic this once now, when the softgoods robes are pretty standard.

I also ordered 5.  Too bad they're $9 each now.

If I decide I don't like them for some odd reason, I know I can always sell them to Jesse.

Well my box of Wave 7 Rebel Fleet Troopers came from Hong Kong today.

This figure is great.  Even Jesse will think so mostly, I'm sure.

The figures from Hong Kong though are not coming with the baseball cap!!  It came with the regular RFT helmet, blaster, radar gun, and ankle ammo hoster dealio.

Make sure you ask for the caps. We're supposed to get them.

Yeah I'm gonna email him.  I checked the auction, picture #2 does show the figure with the cap on, so, I feel like he owes it.

Not that I would have passed on the auction if it only came with the helmet.  The figures are really really nice.

Also, not to tweak Jesse, but it does not look all that different from a POTJ RFT.  The articulation on the new Vinty one is far superior obviously, but just for looks, don't throw away the POTJ's.  They blend really well.

I'd take pictures but I am just too lazy.
