Well,

I got a chance to see HP3 last night.

Good Stuff  :)

My wife and I both gave it thumbs up!

I liked the "Buckbeak" CGI.  Pretty cool.

I also liked Black... too bad about him in the next book/movie though.   :-X

Come on guys. Greg only does it to help the collectors. It's got nothing to do with him wanting to see his name at the top of every page.

Thirty days? That's steep. Must've really pissed someone off. Well done.  :)

Are you saying "Well done" in a positive way or a sarcastic way?

Angry Ewok, you should ask GNT to make a list. He's good at making lists. ::)
Just don't dare to make your own list

This post is nolonger needed, the forum has a GNT post which contains all the crap released in the JD.com line, it can be found here

Remember, please post ONLY in the ONE AND ONLY ONE "approved" thread, started by me in the middle of the night.

From what I've seen:

The OTC Role-Play lightsabers have turned up at RETAIL (Target/TRU).

The OTC Vehicles (X-Wing & TIE Fighter) have turned up at a few retail locations and most on-line shops (EE, Kebco, etc), all little guys who got stuff from Hasbro.  No signs at the big three yet...

The OTC figures have NOT been "confirmed" at retail yet, as far as I know.  None of the big sites is reporting it, and if they were out, someone would have a figure w/receipt pic.

The order on figure timing usually goes like this:

1 - EBay Auctions from Asia

*2 weeks pass*

2 - Asia Based On-Line shops start selling the figures

*2 weeks pass*

3 - On-Line scalpers er... Price Gouger er... "High Demand Product" On-Line stores get them (Action-HQ, Brian's Toys, Cloud City).  These are the stores who pay a crapload to have the items air-shipped from Asia.

*2 weeks pass*

4 - "Regular" On-Line stores (EE, New Force, Kebco, etc) start to get ship notification and/or the figures start turning up at the Big Retail 3 (Target TRU Wal-Mart).

This pattern has held pretty true for some time, with minor variations for shipping problems, etc.  From the first auctions we see from Asia to Retail stores is usually 4-8 weeks.

Given that we are just hitting about 4 weeks since they turned up on eBay, I'd say that they realistically could start hitting Target/TRU/Wal-Mart any day now really...

The interview I heard wasn't a pre-game interview by ABC, but did take place the day of the game in the afternoon on ESPN or Fox sports radio (not sure which).

Granted, the radio guy (Rome?) made it seem much worse than what it was, but he did specifically mention Steph and the Knicks...  this was after he tried to tone down the uproar from a day or two earlier.

I'm hearing now that NewForceComics.com will put the Sandcrawler up for pre-order soon... only $49.99 plus shipping.

Not too shabby for those that still need one and are willing to check it out.

Feh!

Just like every other toy line, the Happy Days line starts out good, but ends up with an assortment of all Fonzies!

Series 1:
Fonzie (classic)
Ritchie
Ralph
Potsie

Series 2:
Joanie
Chiachi
Mr. C
Mrs. C

Series 3:
Mechanic Fonzie
Bike Gang Fonzie
"Evel Kenevil" "Fearless" Fonzie
and, appropriately the last one
"Jumping the Shark" Fonzie

Who'd they take their marketing strategy from?  Mattel?  Hasbro?  They crank out a few villians in wave 2, then it's all Fonzie!   >:(

Well, last night's game deserves a big "Randy Award":

This one goes to "Mr. At-Best Adulterer":

Hero of Game 2, Goat of Game 3.  ONE point in the first half?!?  My favorite part of the whole thing though was the pre-game interview in which this dorkwad was talking about how he'd like to leave the Lakers for the Knicks next year to play with Stephon saying that his heart isn't in it anymore with the LAkers.

HUH?  Complaining about your current team just hours before a pivotal Game 3 in the Finals?  Way to have your head in the game jackass!

I heard the song "The Future Freaks Me Out" on the radio and thought it was kind of catchy:
The Future Freaks Me Out Free Download

I saw that the CD was $10 at Target so I bought it.  Great little CD.

Trio of NHL All-Star Defensemen named to Hall of Fame:

Bourque, Coffey, Murphy to the Hall of Fame in 2004

Three VERY talented defensemen.  All three won the Stanley Cup at one point and played for the teams that most of here root for (Edmonton, Pitsburgh, Detroit, LA and more).
