Gripping stuff...Jeffrey Dean Morgan was just a brilliant casting choice. what a great introduction.

Cool to see the dudes from The Kingdom. Also like what they have done with Father Gabriel lately. Awesome to see Morgan finally man up and realize hard choices are inevitable.

too much else to process tight now, gonna be a long six months...

Meanwhile, next week FTWD will return with an entire cast I wouldn't mind seeing meet Lucille.

My vote is that it's actually gonna be Morgan. Like Matt said - a different choice than the comics, will throw the comic book fans for a loop and kill off a character that a lot of fans wanted back, but lately with the whole "you don't have to kill" stuff he's been preaching, I think there are quite a few fans out there that wouldn't mind seeing him go - which would make him a semi-safe "sacrifice" by the producers.

They do have a recurring habit of killing off the "moral compasses" on the show, so he's got that going for him...(fingers crossed you are right)

I feel more and more it's gonna be Glenn

The more I think about, the more concerned I am that it's actually going to end up a cliffhanger and we won't know for sure til the fall premier.  :(

Season 3 of Star Wars rebels to be the final season.  The final season will set up Rogue One and will make way for another animated series.

Still just a rumor...for now.  :-[

I figured it would be a short run for this show, but I was hoping for at least 1 more season after the next.

Also not sure how they plan to have this lead up to Rogue One when that hits theatres before the tv season is even half over.  ???

Give us The Ghost before it's too late, Hasbro!

I really hope you are right about that, Matt. I am not looking forward to tonight's episode...

Ps - Tara is with Heath...Aaron & pal are chilling back in Alexandria. At least they will be ok.

I don't have the link handy but that April Fools day SW live action streaming Netflix trailer is off the chain. Quinlan Vos versus Maul...dead female Mandalorians...I would SOwatch that if it was real. The spoof was really well done IMO.

I will have to go back and re-watch but I thought they clearly showed Ahsoka after the shot of Vader...she was going back down into the depths of the Temple or something. Either way, yeah, I am sure she is alive.

Other thing that struck me, granted as a minor quibble, but it seemed highly unlikely to me that there would be any Sith holocrons just lying around in an abandoned temple like that. In the Darth Plagueis novel they make a point to explain how Plagueis had obsessively collected all of the ancient Sith lore, including all of the remaining holocrons not destroyed by Darth Gravid. And Sidious himself was supposedly fascinated by Sith worlds, visiting them repeatedly during his apprenticeship (Dathomir, Korriban, etc). So I don't see how they would have possibly missed this one along the way, given that Malachor's history was well known.

Yeah, I am over-geeking... :D

Best...Rebels...EVER!  ;D

The SITH to me, are the single most interesting thing about the entire SW universe, so anything to do with them is A Plus material for me. The writers and animators really delivered too...the dueling scenes on the temple exterior were amazing I thought.

While I will always maintain that the whole premise of bringing Maul back is prima facie absurd, there's no question that he's a fascinating character and they use him in interesting ways on the show. WTF was he going to do with a battle station entrenched on a remote planet covered in ice anyway? (hmm...Starkiller base?)

They definitely have no qualms about offing Inquisitors on this show but I guess everyone else is off limits. The death of the Seventh Sister was the best...wiped that cocky smirk right off her little face...and her head for that matter.

The helicopter lightsaber thing was way overdone I thought. That's not how the Force works!

Vader vs Ahsoka was epic if a little short. It was very well choreographed though. It seems clear Vader lacks any sort of speed or dexterity in that hulking suit, so brute force is his only game. Ahsoka totally would have taken him eventually I think. (short of a Force choke or some other sneaky trick) I am going to go ahead and assume they created some kind of force-bubble to shield themselves from the blast because yeah that didn't really make any sense. How are they gonna get off that rock now though? (I forgot, they will just use the Force)

Blind Kanan should be an interesting development. And when does Rex change his name to Nik Sant?  :P

Haven't posted much this season since I typically watch these On-Demand several days after, but I am looking forward to the hour long finale tonight. Saw the Preview clip with Ezra and the "Old Master" chatting...good stuff!

Hoping for some closure this time around that the Clone Wars always failed to deliver.

Cracked this wave open last night. Kanan is surprisingly well done. Good sculpt and paint apps and little details like the lightsaber disassembling and the hilt being designed to fit in the back of his belt were very cool. Ahsoka is just as great as expected, mine had really crisp paint apps especially on the lekku. She looks terrific.

Luke was a real disappointment to me though. I don't like the pink waxy plastic they used on him and Hux. I prefer the painted heads like Jedi Luke or X-Wing Luke. Plus his head looks tiny on this sculpt. He just looks weird and out of place with the other 6" figures imho. Bummer for such an iconic depiction.

Woo hoo! Found Luke and Ahsoka at Target over lunch today. I literally walked in as they were stocking the shelves. Nothing on the pegs but I spied an opened box of SW 6" on the floor and sure enough it was Wave 6.  ;D  I guess they were planning to put them back in the stockroom since there was no room on the pegs with all those Finns and Resistance Trooper with Not Green Helmets chilling there. Talk about great timing though, I was super happy.

Looking forward to a nice long break from storehunts. At least until Starkiller Rey starts hitting...

I think we got our first look at someone from the Kingdom tonight.

Who? The dude with the Invisible Horse? WHERES THE #$%^& TIGER, WRITERS?!?!  :D

It seems everyone even Hardwick agrees that they all acted stupidly running off like that. Carol would have been fine and only Daryl would have been taken, which happened anyway. I was practically screaming "GLEN, DON'T GO!!"  :(

BTW, I have had about enough with the ninjalike prowess of the Saviors sneaking up on people like Daryl and Michonne who are just so much better than them in every way. Last episode at the train tracks was bad enough but last night was too much. What, are they the Others from LOST or something?

Scoreboard up to something like 55-1 Alexandrites vs Saviors. I guess their compound is the whole city of DC or something because come on, how %^&* many of those aholes are there??

What did Carol have up her sleeve, an UZI? That was a serious spray of bullets.

So the 1 Savior that was left alive - he was hiding in the trees watching Rick and Morgan right? I thought after they went into the fields to look for Carol he followed them, but then they never went back to that. You would think Rick would have stumbled on him on his way back to the car. So what happened to that guy? He must show up next week because they showed that damn crucifix again in the Preview and apparently that string of rosary beads is now the most important symbolic artifact in the world.  ???

I was really convinced that Carol was going to be the last minute pinch hitter for Lucille - she has gotten a lot of screen time of late and her personal journey has kind of come full circle. Not sure how much growth is left for her character at this point. Storywise it doesn't make sense to kill Michonne yet, and I don't think Rosita checking out would be dramatic enough. Which just leaves Glenn or Daryl. I feel like Glenn's story is still evolving too, and he hasn't been given much screen time lately, AND they just teased his death a few episodes back anyway, so I'm hoping he gets a reprieve. But Maggie's new haircut has me worried again.  :-[

I almost want to see them kill Daryl just to watch the Internets explode next week.  :P

Was unable to resist the Mezco 1:12 Judge Dredd figure any longer. Found one for $50 shipped on eBay so I pounced. Every bit as I cool as I expected...multiple hands and accessories, well articulated but hidden, great sculpt, just an all around terrific effort.

Definitely need the Cursed Earth version and NYCC B&W variant now. And that badass bike.   8)

My buddy found a Kanan for me. Haven't heard of another case of this wave hit this week though. So weird that not one case of the Hux wave hit around here.

I found another Kanan and a couple of Snowtroopers yesterday too. That's the 2nd time that has happened to me recently, and this store had just put stuff out. I almost wonder if there is some weird case revision shipping that doesn't include Luke and Ahsoka.

That Hux wave I only ever saw twice I think, once at Walmart and then many weeks later at TRU. That one was really hit or miss. The only waves I've had a harder time finding were the ones with Anakin and the Clone Trooper and that one wave with Bossk. That Hux wave will probably resurface over the summer...hopefully.

I picked up 6" Kanan Jarrus at lunch today.  :)

That sounds easy enough but it was actually the culmination of many days' worth of fruitless Brickpicker stalking, Jedi mind-tricking, and driving around from store to store. I can honestly say I have never put in so much effort to find one of these waves. I just have a weird feeling these are all going to be really hard to find, like that Wave 4 that came and went like a thief in the night.

I don't mind so much, it's easier then stalking TRU or Walgreens, but still can be a tiresome exercise. I have stumbled across so many Wave 2 revision cases it's not even funny. And I still have never seen the legendary standalone display that seems to migrate from CD's to clothes to the grocery section. It's like the Castle of the Beast in Krull. After sundown it will pop up somewhere else in the store that I can't find.  :D

Kanan looks awesome BTW. Can't wait to find the others!
