Wondering when these will start to ship...seems like it is lagging significantly behind the Fetts, although they both started at the exact same time.

Anyone heard or read of these arriving yet?

Last time I checked, I did not even see any up on eBay...curious.

Finally sent off for this today...hope I get one before they run out. And a decent card would be nice to boot.

On a related note, I now have 4 TVC figs sans UPC's but otherwise unmolested if anyone is interested. (Not likely I know)

got an email today from TRU with a coupon for 20% of any regular priced item good for today and tomorrow.

Is that generated from being a Rewards Club member?

I use my card all the time, but I've yet to get any really good coupons like this. I'd use that too.

IDK if this was posted but Kmart has a coupon for $5 off a toy purchase of ONLY $5! You can get a TVC fig for only $4 and change. I got Han today. I almost boguht SW "Beanz" for $5.99 before discount. Unfortunately tomorrow is the last day. :-\ I only heard about this today. :-[

Thanks to this, I was able to score another MOC Jodo tonight for $3.99.

Gotta love that!

I liked his deco in the series, but Hasbro's putting out a whole lot of the same in the deluxe veh/figure line so I think they should try to tread cautiously with that stuff.  The kiddies can only get so many before mommy/daddy say no.

Yeah, but come on...they named a Clone Trooper after YOU!  ;D You know you need 3 of these at least!

This WAS totally out of the blue. I agree it looks very similar to at least 2-3 other sets, but at least it's not a straight repack. I'm definitely down for one.

I'm just wondering what happened to the AT-RT with Boil. This was supposed to be part of Wave 3 too, but is now conspicuously absent from the BBTS listings.

McMetal...did you pick it up at retail?

Yes, I found it at TRU last week along with the ARC Troopers BP. They only had 1 of each on the shelves. I have not heard about this hitting anyplace else yet, but I'm sure it will eventually.

Star Wars Universe / Re: 'Star Wars' in 3-D?

Big whoop. Those prequel movies suck in 2D, 3D, even in four or more dimensions. Their suckitude defies all known laws of physics.

And I'm sorry, but 3D tech is still woefully crude; who wants to wear glasses over glasses?

I was hoping they would have at least started with the OT.

Papinoida sounds like some kind of genital wart.

Good to see Seth Green make another appearance. And Meredith Salenger is always on time.  ;D

I have one of every individually carded figure they have made.

Really? Where do you store them? That seems like it would take up an enormous amount of space.

I've often wondered if there were any collectors out there who literally bought EVERYTHING in the 3&3/4" line. I mean a straight-up, 100% completist, including all variants, re-packs, etc.

I bet no one at Habsro can even make that claim.

Does look cool...looking forward to seeing some pics of that other set too, since IG-88 is all new.

IG-86 is a repaint I believe, nothing "new" there.

In the same sense that Ziro's Assassin droid was a repaint of the previous version? Or is this more of a straight re-pack?

I'm cool if the paint apps are unique, that's "new" enough for me.

The Clone Wars '08-'13 / Re: TRU Exclusive Nikto Guard?
« on: September 28, 2010, 12:13 PM »
Aw yeah, snagged my Nikto Guard today, courtest of the neighborhood TRU. Looked like they had about 5-6 on the pegs at least.

I found it interesting the cards all had a reinforced J-hook. Wish all the figs featured that, but I guess that's the kind of premium packaging you can only get for $10.99.  ::)

He DOES have a tiny head too. Must look better with the cowl.

Wait, so neither guy actually has a face? Well, that's one way to keep the sculpting costs down.

Does look cool...looking forward to seeing some pics of that other set too, since IG-88 is all new.

Great pics, mods!

Went back out this morning to hunt down Goji, and sure enough, found him on the pegs at 1 of the 2 local Targets that had no Wave 3 on Friday when I last checked. Only 1 there, but it was on a decent card, so a definite keeper.

Now I just need that Nikto Guard and I am back to being all caught up.  ;D

The Clone Wars '08-'13 / Re: Clone Wars Figure Rumors/Speculation
« on: September 27, 2010, 09:45 AM »
Gotta love this latest rumor list from RS:

Aqua Droid
Barriss Offee
Captain Rex with Jetpack
Clone Commander Wolfe
Clone Trooper 7 ARF
Clone Trooper (Stealth Ops)
Clone Trooper with Riot Gear
Echo (Sgt. Bric Armor)
Eeth Koth
Red Leader
Saesee Tiin
Savage Oppress

No, I don't need 65 more clones, but I'm loving me some Barriss Offee, El-Les, and Seripas!

Echo in Brain-boy's armor? Guess this means ole Bric will be in at least 1 more episode this season.

I don't think it was absolutely neccessary to create an episode with Baron Papinoida. I think it was a nice way for Lucas to make a cameo in ROTS, but to now see that character explained takes away a bit from the special cameo George made.

Was there a character in Friday's episode by that name? If so, I completely missed it. Who was it? I've never even heard the name before...

Not a bad episode, but fairly unremarkable. I did notice that they continue to go back and forth on their pronunciation of Twi'lek. (I really think it should be a long "I" there, as in "Bene Tleilax", rather than a short "EE" sound - that just sounds wimpy)

I'm completely ready for them to resume the "current" timeline. I think we've dabbled in the past long enough.
