Enjoyed reading all the comments. You guys touched on my two biggest beefs with the film franchise: Sucky Fake Dumbledore Gambon and the unfailing need to change the source material.

Now, I get that they were trapped when Harris died, and in Gambon's defense, I wouldn't have liked anyone else in that role either, but he really is a piss-poor Dumbledore. He lacks all of the warmth and whimsy of Harris. Harris was just so superbly cast, it literally diminished the whole of the franchise when they lost him.

Imagine LOTR without the real Gandalf, or Star Wars without the real Obi-Wan. Just not the same.

That said, I can live with casting changes made out of necessity, but the rampant plot changes and exclusion of important details just became too irritating and distracting to ignore anymore after the first movie. I forget which was the longest book, I want to say 3 or 4, but they cut so much out it was like watching a completely different movie.

I honestly don't know how you make sense of it all without having read the books. You certainly miss quite a lot.

I am trying to make an effort to watch the movies again now as I never even saw the last 2 or 3. I'd like to get caught up so I can still catch the last one in the theatre.

Oh, and just so I can get the frustration out ahead of time, what exactly did the change about this last installment? Nobody lives who dies or vice versa hopefully?

I think it's greedy and stupid that they refuse to clearance out the Nikto Guard or Kul Teska. You still have 2 TCW exclusives loitering on the pegs and now you're going to add a third?

Kul Teska in particular kills me, this thing is huge and takes up valuable real estate. And I really want one for openers but not at the ridiculous price they're at now. Drop that thing down to $5 and watch 'em fly off the shelves.

I agree that odds seem really slim Blackout will stay at $7.99 for very long. That's cheaper than their regular Clone Wars figs.

The other advantage to those proposed case ratios is that it would GREATLY increase your chances of actually finding the new figures on the pegs. Most stores typically get in ONE case at a time for some reason, so if one person gets there before you they're wiped out and you get nothing. And then God knows how long it will be until the NEXT case shows up.

Having multiples of the new figures helps to insure that they get proper saturation in the marketplace.

I watched that episode again last night, and not only is he not named in the credits, I'll be damned if I caught his name anywhere in the actual episode either. I could have missed it, but struck me as odd.

Yeah, I missed out on the mini Y-Wing, too.  I'm sure it'll show some time soon.

Like...right now?  8)

It is listed as In Stock again at HTS, I just picked one up along with the RC Republic Fighter Tank.

Thanks for the promo code!

So the TRU Exclusive Stealth Ops Clone Trooper is apparently hitting shelves now up in Canada. Hopefully he will start to make an appearance stateside soon. I definitely want at least 2 of these, although it irks me that they don't actually refer to him by name on the package.

The Target where I picked up Wave 7 remnants last week restocked over the past day or so - they had another full case out today at lunch. They must have been unpunched too...most were still attached. Dang.

I picked up another RFT and a Fordo for openers, officially done with this wave now. WHEW!

I see this is in stock now over at HTS...weird how they are early with some stuff and so late with other stuff.

Think I can wait til I see it in a store. The K-Mart across the street still has 3 Hailfire Droids gathering dust.

In stock now over at Hasbrotoyshop

DISC10 for 10% off

I just saw that...they actually have a listing up for the mini Y-Wing too, but it says Out of Stock. I wonder if it was ever really in stock? Did I somehow miss that? I feel like I just checked HTS over the weekend and saw nothing new.

Ugh, I dropped more on a single action figure over the weekend than I've ever spent before. Not really a great feeling, pangs of buyer's remorse are already setting in.

It's hard for me to set a distinct value on some of the premium DROIDS carded figures because they pop up so infrequently. In the past 3 months alone I've seen a carded A-Wing Pilot go for over $400 and a carded C-3PO go for a little over $200.

I guess generally I feel like a good condition carded 3PO, R2, A-Wing Pilot, Sise Fromm and of course Boba are all worth upwards of $200 or so, obviously with some fluctuations in there from figure to figure. Is that crazy?

Anyway, I actually picked up R2-D2 on a very clean card with minimal yellowing, creasing, etc. More than I wanted to spend certainly but not necessarily more than it is worth. At least I hope not.

Arrgh hasbro, just when I had convinced myself not to buy that whole set for the bane figure they up the ante by adding the arm panel...I am guessing I will have a while to decide though.

Yeah, that was an unexpected but really cool feature they added with the breakaway armor and wound. I wonder if this was partly the reason for the delay/fail on the single carded version originally intended.

You might be able to score a loose one off eBay for less than the price of the whole pack.

I'm actually on board with this. Outside of that dreadful Boston Legal show, I've enjoyed Spader's body of work to this point. And he was definitely the most interesting of the characters they rotated through for the finale.

Although Will Arnett would have been great too if he could have channeled a little more of his Todd Margaret character. That **** was brilliant.

I am just as surprised at collectors who were not blown away by the chance to get their own rocket firing Vintage Boba Fett last year. To each his own, I guess.

Thanks for the feedback on this thing, Jack, you make some good points.

I appreciate the photos as well, the scale of this thing was somewhat deceptive.

Has this hit any of the online sellers yet do we know?
