I don't think Vos is on this week.

My bad, I got confused with the recent teaser clip.

Maybe some Todo tonight?

I watched it night before last via On Demand and thought it was great except for a couple of things.

First, how are you going to wake up in zombie world and not start asking about a million questions? I mean, you're not even curious a LITTLE how it all started? I get that the dude is not talkative but come on bro, get some backstory.

Second, I hate to get on a high horse, no pun intended, but did they really have to make the wife such a callow b*tch? First, you cruise out of town with your kid but don't even stop by the hospital to pick up your injured husband, and worse you start banging his best friend after what, 2 weeks? Wow, don't let any moss grow on that thing lady.

It sort of turns the whole thing into an absurd farce, like some twisted play on the Odyssey, where the husband defies all manner of obstacles to reunite with his "loyal wife" only to find she started nailing his best friend 5 minutes after he was out of the picture.  ::) Not exactly epic.

About now I am just hoping she and her dumbass lover get ripped apart and eaten, leaving the kid and hid Dad to ride off into the sunset.

More zombies, less love triangle...

Will have to work hard to top the ending of Dead Set.

Thanks Jeff, that makes sense.

It also seems to imply that if what Hasbro considers to be wave 4 = EE wave 5, then we're talking about the Embo wave.  (Cause the box was definitely marked Wave 4)

headed back there in about 2 hours...will confirm.

Ok, turned out to be just wave 3 crap as suspected. Flamethrower Clone, plus Ahsoka repack, etc.

Maybe next week~

This morning I noticed a new case of figures on top of the shelf above the pegs at TRU - it was marked Clone Wars Wave 4, Revision 2.

I searched everywhere I could think of online. but could not find any description of any such case assortment. EE has a Wave 4, Revision 1, but that is just figures like the ARF Trooper and Flamethrower Clone, which really are Wave 3, at least as referred to in this forum.

I'm guessing it probably is Wave 3 crap, since I can't see a Wave 4 revision case coming out before the original Wave 4 assortment. But who knows?

I could not reach it and the store was crazy busy, so I'll have to swing back later.

I'm not particularly high on droid hijinks, but tonight's episode could be promising, at least they got Anthony Daniels to handle the voice work.

Once again though, they're back to focusing on characters Hasbro is reluctant to release in the line. First Satine, now Ziro.

I don't get the aversion to Ziro - it's just a repaint of the previously released Jabba sculpt. Throw in another figure or two and you've got a battlepack right there.

Gotta admit, I'm curious to see this Vos dude and how they play that off too.

I'll take repaints over repacks any day of the week.

I am a diehard Completist, so I'll purchase anything that is remotely new or different. If that means 5 JSF's and 3 Gunships, I'm down with that.

... and I am all finished.  ;D

Uh-huh, sure, I believe that.  So when ya gonna start on the carded collection?  ;)

Too cost prohibitive, sadly. I do still have the Droids and Ewoks lines to complete though.  ;D

Yesterday I scored some more replacement parts for the Ewok village. That one is about done now too.

I'm pretty sure they alluded to another iteration of the Gunship coming from the Geonosis arc in a Q&A awhile back, but I'd be shocked if this was anything other than a repaint.

I'll take the Malevolence though.  ;D

I ordered the Embo wave from HTS and it shipped yesterday, so for those of you looking for those... also last time I looked HTS has the Freeco Speeder w/ Clone in stock.

I had all 5 in my cart ready to purchase and when I just went back in to pull the trigger, 4 of the 5 were already out of stock. WTF?

If they had just said, "Hey, they'll ship this week" I would have bought them on the spot earlier this week when they first went up. But that Nov 22 date they kept throwing out was a real turn-off. So I wound up playing myself...

No sign of the two new vehicles in my neck of the woods - but we did a case of the new deluxe figures in at TRU this morning, so I was able to grab the Cold Weather Clone w/Freco Speeder and Tactical Droid w/Scout Tank.

Hey Pete - did they have the AT-RT w/Boil and BARC w/Jesse too? Or just those two you mentioned? I assumed they were all shipping in the same case but maybe not.

Our TRU restocks again tomorrow, so I am hopeful on these. The biggest issue around here is that none of the stores even have space for new Deluxe sets, they are still jammed with too many of the old ones.

Ok, for those of us not in the know, what's the quick Cliff Notes Bio on this guy?

Is he a good guy or bad guy - ultimately?

How does he dies?

What was he supposed to be doing during the war, based on the original EU backstory?

I spend a buttload of money in that store, have been a Rewards member for quite awhile, and have NEVER gotten any coupons via email.

Is there a way you can request one be sent to you?

After a completely unsuccessful toy blitz yesterday, I struck gold this morning at the local TRU, thanks to a little brashness and height.

The closest TRU got their truck late last night, so I was hoping to see new stuff out today, namely the newest TCW vehicle wave and the latest deluxe sets. When I saw nothing on the pegs today though, I was bummed but not surprised - they have taken down the front display for Toy Story 3, so the amount of space for SW merch has effectively been cut in half.

I did notice though, that they had several boxes on top of the aisles marked Starfighter W3R1, hmmm. That sounded promising, so I looked around for any helpful employees and finding none, decided to take matters into my own hands. Luckily at 6'4" I can actually reach that high, so I pulled down a box and cracked it open right there in the aisle. BINGO - Xanadu Blood and Plo Koon's Starfighter (packed with the Snowspeeder and Cloud Car) FTW!

The Koon fighter was dinged in the front slightly, those dioramas seem to get mussed rather easily, so I actually had to pull down another full case and crack those open to score the minty one I needed.

So I got both, and then when I get online I read about those 20% off coupons circulating - D'Oh! I see a price adjustment in my future.

No idea where they are hiding those new deluxe sets...yet.

Scored the vintage Death Star playset today for about $40, mostly complete. I still have a few remnants from the one I owned as a kid, so I should be able to compile a solid set between the two.

Just a few odds and ends for the Ewok village and Ewok wagon to pick up, and the vintage AT-At, and I am all finished.  ;D

Hmmm, could not find this wave anywhere today, and now I read it is not supposed to start shipping until Nov 22 - eesh. Maybe HTS is the way to go.
