Glad I wasted barely any time watching the games this weekend, every time I was rooting for lost.  >:(

Football in general has just been so unappealing this year. I really think this will be the first year in a decade or so I don't even watch the Super Bowl.

Not bad, a little underwhelming with the Bo Katan and all, but whateves. I liked the soda can droid and the proto-landspeeder. Those droids reminded me of the creepy toys next door from Toy Story.

Oh, I liked the Brainiac Ambassador dude too.

Bring on the bounty hunters!

Is tonight the one with Katee Sackhoff?

I cannot wait to see her debut...and dream about what a cool figure she would have made if Hasbro wasn't intent on driving this line into the ground.

I have no interest at all in ever seeing the Maul episodes(s)...there is suspension of disbelief and then there is just plain insulting stupidity.

Not even my six year old would buy that someone could be cut in half and dropped thousands of feet and still be alive. Try cracking open an anatomy textbook sometime, geniuses.

I love how noone ever uses this insane medical technology to actually rescue any good guys. They can stitch together Darth Maul good as new but they can't stop a woman from dying durig childbirth? Riiiight.

Meh, IMO the franchise could use a little "adultening". I would love to see a darker, more serious tone. I wouldn't worry about them going over the top, Lucas would never allow that. But I do think they can explore more themes, deeper characterizations, etc that don't lend themselves easily to action movies intended as family fare.

I think that sounds really cool actually, a good tool for introducing more backstory. Especially good for those of us who still want them to explain how everything got started. (I disagree that this is irrelevant to the story)

I didn't read the source for this, but it seems likely we will still see this episode at some point. Maybe it was already even shot and they are just working on re-ordering the episodes.

Like the Fringe Fall finale was originally supposed to be the kick-butt action packed episode airing tonight, but it got pushed back due to the World Series, so they went with something much less compelling.

Vintage Kenner / Re: Latest vintage acquisition

I'm working on the major variants. There are at least 3 I am planning to knock out this year with a little luck - Orange Hair Luke, Double Telescoping Luke, and Vinyl Cape Jawa. Those will probably do it for my active collecting...I don't see being able to afford a true rocket firing Fett prototype or DT Vader or Kenobi, probably ever.

Caveat Emptor. TRU shipped my last carded figure in a bubble mailer, so it was completely crushed when I got to me.

Chances are you are going to see these in your local Walmart before TRU online gets those orders out anyway.

Does anyone know what the new TCW DPCI will be for Target?

Ok, no personal finds to report here, but I figured it would be helpful to share that people are starting to find the new Clone Wars 2012 figures at Walmart, mostly out West it seems. The new BP with CutUp has been spotted too, also at Walmart.

Most of these initial reports are sporadic, but I expect will pick up steam over the next three weeks leading up to the official launch.

Other Toy Lines / Re: The Walking Dead

Completed Wave 2 by picking up Daryl Dixon and the B/W Grimes variant at a local comic shop Friday. (yay) They were $3 more expensive than TRU...brutal.

You know something is overpriced when it is actually cheaper at a TRU.

Haven't heard whether there are any plans for a third series of these but they certainly have plenty of good figure options left to choose from if the decide to keep it going.

Wow, halfway through that episode got REALLY good.

I mean, I saw at least a dozen new ships, clones, and other awesome toy fodder that will probably never get made. The slavers' starfighter, the sleek, crazy looking x-wing prototypish thing the clones with Plo were flying, and of course the always welcome solar sailer.

Good to see Warthog again. And how awesome was it to see Rex kill the slaver in the hover chair? That was rad.

I don't get why the Emperor sent Dooku to get them to execute Anakin. I mean, that's his future apprentice he has been grooming, why would he want Dooku to take him out all of a sudden? Maybe I missed something but that struck a really false note somehow.

The last 15 minutes were among the best of the season IMO. Good guys actually kicking ass.

That Vader burger reminds me of when Spongebob sold Pretty Patties

The rest remind me of when Mr. Krabs thought the Health Inspector was trying to get free food and invented the Nasty Patty

That is my ALL-TIME favorite SpongBob episode!

"DIE ZOMBIE!"

A friend recently burned a copy for me and I can't agree...this is one of the worst offenses in the history of TV programming. It's screamingly hilarious bad.

Art Freakin' Carney? Jefferson Airplane/Starship/whatever?!?

Keep the cartoon and the Cantina bit with Ackmena...but the rest is pretty unwatchable, IMO. Like Geneva code violation bad.

Kinda makes me shudder at the prospect of going back and watching all those old DROIDS and EWOKS episodes...

Those both look revolting...are those marshmallows on the Yoda burger?  :-X

And why would the proper name "Vader" have to be changed for the French language?

When is the next wave coming out? These things were hitting fast and furious last year compared to SW.
