None of my figures came mint but I open anyway so whatever.
Tusken with updates elbows is nice enough, but not really that special if the previous figure didn’t bother you. The weapons are abysmal though. Insanely soft plastic, and wilt over time. They’ll be swapped out with other figure’s accessories. Really disappointing plastic choice.
The Luke figure is a really nice portrait of MH and the removable helmet isn’t a real issue since there are like a thousand Jedi Lukes out there. The head would swap easily with the last DS Luke we got and most have an extra. It would’ve been nice had they included an extra helmetless head but not really expected either. If anything, given Ahsoka and Maul, it makes me long for ground up resculpts of Jedi figures haha. The poncho is a nice update too, and the accessories are nice. The blaster isn’t even necessary really, but I’ll take it.
The Death Star droid is the odd surprise. The added weathering detail goes a long way to make this figure unique to his BAD counterpart. Very welcome update. Makes it kind of like two different figures to me. He’ll display much nicer with Jawas with the weathering.
I’m curious to see how they get to the rest of these rerelease-esque figures as we go forward.
