I’m keeping my pulse order too Rob, but cuz I just want a ****load of these sets.  My Disney order shipped but hasn’t moved.

Disney Parks Droid Factory / Re: 2022 Droid Factory - Mandalorian Set
« on: January 11, 2022, 02:43 AM »
Mine came in the mail over the weekend and I was excited to get home to some new droids.  They’re pretty sweet.  The new astromech domes are nice and have some modular design built into them for I’m guessing possible reuse later with different possible attachments or whatnot.

The security droid is kind of an army builder, and it’d be cool to have a couple, but the price obviously makes that a tough proposition.

The champion of the box is the boatman over the river styx.  He’s def cool and would make a neat astromech with the right legs.  He’s completely clean which doesn’t jive with my memory of him in the show but that’s ok.  His joints needed heating to loosen some of them, however his main joints at the hip and shoulders are kinda on the loose side, and his heavy nature makes him topple easily.  Once I got him posed right he holds ok but he def could fall with the slightest fart crosswise.  His oar is I think similar or meant to be similar to or same as the weird staffs the Mustafar bug looking dudes had.  Weird we got figures of them now that I think about that.  Anyway the oar is way big though and a heavy accessory.

He makes me really long for the boat now, which given the stuff 3D dudes now I’m sure it exists or will shortly. 🤷‍♂️

Overall a fun set.  Now I want the blind box droids.  Hell, I love the boxes even.

Yeah no Disney, yet… though I was able to order a second set of two on hasbro that I hope they didn’t cancel since they’re not selling out there (yet).

I need Bossk.  You need Bossk.  The ladies… they need and desire Bossk.

I wonder when Disney gets their Shoretroopers……. And rebel troopers. ☹️

Had a solid afternoon of meetings and seem to have missed Fett. I guess that's the world's way of telling me I don't need to drop $24 for a single new 3 3/4" figure.

GameStop still has bud

I just ordered on Pulse cuz I couldn’t find him on Amazon and said f it.  He’s sold out there now.

Was able to grab this item thanks to Jeff!

Give my left nut for a 1/18 UWing.  Not truncated but a true 1/18.  It’s mostly wing so like a tie fighter it’s reasonable, and it should be bigger than the larger ships they’ve done already (that are undersized) so it wouldn’t make them look off or anything.

I’m to the point though, big ships kinda need to be pretty damn special because the barge and RC will be absolute hogs together in anyone’s collection.  Something would probably have to go, or go into storage ultimately.

Don’t get me wrong I love the rancor, I just am pretty content with the saga one.  I do love it though and consider it essential.  I got my OG at Gold Circle on clearance and he ate far more GI Joe’s than Star Wars.  He is still in my collection too.

Same with mine.

Interesting strategy.  I wish I could buy more off pulse.
