Out of the 12" figures?  Both of the original Chewbacca figures were "furry".  They had real hair and wire armateur frames isntead of plastic/poseable bodies.  The figure looks pretty lame, you'd know if you had it.  The 1st was plain, the second had the ROTJ Chain/collar on it... 

Then they went plastic with it because they couldn't get it right otherwise.

Yeah I got one but never inspected it terribly close, so thanks for that update. 

It's weird that Hasbro was willing to beat the piss out of the #6 and #41 molds, and then poo poo'd that they didn't have enough molds around, blah blah blah...  But the CW Trooper is a perfectly acceptable sculpt IMO, and one they should re-use for a basic figure if they're so strapped to get Clones out to retail...  Paint that up.  Hell, use it to put the AOTC Clone out again too.  They'd sell quite smartly I'd think.

Yeah I found an aisle full of the $20 pricepoint vehicles one night at Wal-Mart.  Just tons of stuff dumped there, and got two JSF's for on the cheap.  I should've bought the wheelbike despite its inaccuracies, as clearance isn't usually a bad price for anything.

The Target stores near me blew stuff out fast...  WM's the only place with lingering bits and pieces.  Mostly deluxe is what i see for $5.  Funny how sought after that Vader w/Med Table was and now that's almost all I see.

Leia's a sign of better things in 2006, but unfortunately she's appearing to be a bit of an anomyly for the most part.  Articulation is out this year but Leia gets the royal treatment from the big H at least.  That's something right?

She's not too shabby otherwise either...  Some minor paint flaws on my sample, but not a whole lot to gripe about.  My big peeve was her right forearm's sculpt, that was it.  Otherwise this was a pretty great figure to me.

Leia's a bright spot in an otherwise dull wave of underacheiving action figures from Hasbro, so enjoy her...  Hoth Wave isn't a huge leap in quality unfortunately. 

Maul or Jango, though honestly Jango was somewhat integral to the story while Maul was a promotional gimmick plain and simple.  Maul could've been Dooku throughout the storyline.

So Maul's my vote too.

Yeah me too, haha...  I've actually sorta hoped he'd be a bit too tall.  I have tall Luke's all over the place, I can live with it.  A SA X-Winger body with a great average height wouldn't bother me in the slightest.  I'd deal with Luke overacheiving in his verticle ability.

Yeah they're actually the same duds but Luke's sporting a heavy Orange flight coat over his jumpsuit, and then all the other gear on top of it, and plus his Hoth booties too.

Given Luke's size I almost hope they do a nice SA version of Luke but also a nice generic height pilot too...  Zev, Dak, Hobbie, WEdge...  Whatever, just so long as they at least do one nicely articulated and average height sculpt of the Snowspeeder pilot.

I wonder how VOTC Luke Pilot is gonna stack up in height to other figures.  Will he be short and thus not as spiffy fodder, or will he be improperly scaled but you may want extras to customize or whatever. 

Yeah ROTJ kind of dumbed down a lot of ANH's uniforms.  There's Yavin Techs and Officers working on Home One but you have to look closely...  There's the DST's but they're in jumpsuits...  That kind of stuff.  It's weird.

I pay attention with a particular anal retentive flare to uniforms.  I'm a big military feind so it's something I have interest in.  Of note, there was a military advisor on board for ANH and ESB but not ROTJ.  Thus in ROTJ the ranks on Imp. Uniforms are all the same...  It's supposedly a reason there's uniform differences too however there's a lot of ways to explain that the uniforms in ANH and ROTJ are actually similar in most ways but that what we see of say the Rebel Soldiers are Commandos/Spec. Forces and not the "grunt" Fleet Trooper guys, and then the Mon Cal uniforms can be explained away too...  It's not like we see human Ship Commanders to say that this ISN'T the Alliance Fleet Standard for ship crewmen or whatever...  Lots of fudging room, though ROTJ is noticeably less "together" compared to ANH and ESB which blended seamlessly together and had lots of variances in details like arm patches, rank badges, etc...  There's some rich detail there, and it was really quite nicely laid out.
