I came across all three senior officer packs at TRU today. Don't know if this is old news. At $15 each it sounded like a ok deal.

Picked up a Night Specter at Target. Nice vehicle, and a fantastic value for only $10.

I also bought the TRU 3-packs today.  This was the first time I've seen all three but it still took a while to decide to buy them.  I mainly wanted the gold CG, Grunt and Cobra Commander.  I like the large Cobra sigil on the v1 Cobra Commander and other paint details.  The Duke, Hawk, red CC, CG, Cobra Officer and soldier are ok.

I also found w7 at Wal-Mart today.  I really like them all.  However, I'm having a harder time liking the Viper then I thought possible.  It has funky wrists, bad ankle articulation, rubbery toes, loose goggles that fall off all the time, a backpack that won't lay flat against the back and a vest that won't stay clasped.  It looks cool standing there but is hard do much with.

On the other hand the Snake Eyes v3 is awesome and 100% perfect.  I wish they could get all the figures to work this well.  Holds weapons well, great articlation, many great accessories.  Awesome.

Spirt, Wild Bill and HISS Driver are also very cool and it's hard to find anything wrong with them.  I'm still not a big fan of the mid-torso look on the Hiss Driver/Flash.

w7 Duke is cool too.  I'm not big on repaints but the flag stand is cool and jetpack works great on the silver Grand Slam.

You have to admit, the SHARC looks more like a plane than a boat/sub.  Plus, it's more fun to fly something around the room than pretend you have a living room full of water.

The SHARC flew...  It was a plane and a sub.  Am I the only one who remembers this?  It was in the cartoon doing that actually.

Yeah, I concur with JJ...

I thought it was both plane and sub (I believe they called it a "flying submarine" or something).  It would fly along and then submerge itself when it needed to for whatever mission it had.

Ah, don't recall.  I never had the SHARC as a kid and I don't remember it from the comic.  Although I saw a lot of the cartoons they didn't have as much of a lasting impact as the comics did.

Actually check out the vintage one and look at the stickers on it.  It was called the "Flying SHARC" and had stickers of a Shark with wings on it.  They're blue and the shark's clear and shows through as the white/grey color of the vehicle.

That's awesome if the Conquest will be available again. That was always my favorite jet for the GI Joe side.  :)

I'm feeling the same way as you Scott.  I desperately WANT to stop buying this line.  And with going overboard on Indy stuff yesterday... I feel I should.  But who knows.  Damnit...

The $6.84-$6.99 price doesn't help either.  I'm not stopping soon with these but the price does make it hard to collect.

I did quit it, but I was paying $4.99 for the 1st 2 waves at Wally World.
