Some people are just hesitant to give away their control over picking I guess.

It would be nice to keep it moving, especially since scheduling a mass draft night where we can all be here doesn't seem like it's going to work, but some just don't want to do that.

OK, we'll try one last time:

EVERYONE, please pick the top three nights that you are available this week for a massive on-line sit down draft either here on in the JD Chat room.

I'll compile the results and see if a draft night will work or if we're in trouble getting this thing done over the next 10 days...

My top three:
1.  Wed, Sept 1st
2.  Thurs, Sept 2nd
2.  Friday, Sept 3rd

I'll be out tonight (headed to the MN State Fair), so if any of you will be around tonight, please let me know and I will GLADLY e-mail you a few picks so that I don't hold things up tonight with my 7th and 8th round picks.

Thanks,
Jeff

Nope.

I guess we are stalled again until Dressel is back at 6pm...

Round 01, 4. The Famine (Famine) - Jesse Palmer, QB
Round 02, 25. The Famine (Famine) - Kurt Warner, QB
Round 03, 32. The Famine (Famine) - Eli Manning, QB
Round 04, 53. The Famine (Famine) - Tiki Barber, RB
Round 05, 60. The Famine (Famine) - Amani Toomer, WR
Round 06, 81. The Famine (Famine) - Giants, DEF

It's official.

Kevin in the biggest FF Homer I have ever met.

I kinda feel bad for him that someone grabbed Shockey, but Kevin I guess you can still pick up Dayne & Gramatica if the other guys leave them alone... who is the Giants back-up TE?

thanks to the guy who dumped him in Fantasy Baseball, Dressel thanks you too

 :-[

If I had kept him on my Fantasy Team, he would have continued to struggle (notice how Stewart went on the DL this year, the curse of Jeff's Team).

I did it for the good of the Twins, sacrificing myself in the process... you did notice he was 3-5 when I dropped him?  Now he's CY Young material.

I give and I give for my team... it's not like I just jump on the bandwagon of whichever hometown team is the hottest like some folks from tropiCAL locations.   ::)

BTW Michael Bennett and Bryant McKinnie got hurt on the same play tonight, they both look OK but it was a scary moment

Scary ESPECIALLY if you drafted Bennett.   :-\

I thought I might end up having to quick pick a new RB tonight...

Got my IG-88 and Bossk in the mail today...

Very cool little figures.  Having these now makes me feel bad for resisting for so long.  I love the detail on IG-88 and his weapons are very cool; nice that they included both guns unlike Hasbro cheaping out recently.

Bossk is really great too.  Just gotta wait for my box from Dale to get here so I can get my little display up to five SW Kubrick figures...  :-\

Good Pal of mine in WI let me know that he found the AotC GH packs at Target near Madison today.

He nabbed the Padme/Aniakin set and the Obi-Wan/Jango set, but the Yoda/Clone were gone...

Time to start watching for these at retail too, eh?

Fozzie the bear haunts me.  Look at him in that picture; his arms up in the air practically screaming to me, "BUY ME!"

Or Kermit, pointing at Gonzo and having a secret laugh at Gonzo's romance with a chicken.

Or Sam the Eagle, arm raised as if he's about to say "SHUT THE HELL UP!  ALL OF YOU!"

I must have them...  I'll take a set.   :-[

Maybe we can arrange for a delivery next week over lunch?   ;)
