Missed the panel and will have to try and find it online later.

I love the all-new figures, and the rereleases/updates are all nice choices. Overall, I'm very happy w/ each one of these. It will be great to finally have another member of the Batch to go w/ Hunter, a friend for Cal Kestis, & the main villain from S3 of The Mandalorian (two years late). I really wish they'd have included Gideon's headsculpt, but it is safe to say we can expect the double-dip and will likely see another version of Gideon w/o his helmet soon though.

The new rocket accessory looks great, I'll be happy to add a few of those to my Imperial ranks. I also wouldn't mind seeing that rocket launcher again w/ a Range Trooper from Andor...

This looks like another great wave, all the choices are figures that are fairly high on my lists. Gotta give Hasbro credit for the figure selection so far this year, they are doing a great job for how few we get these days.

Pegwarmer or not, I really liked Cobb Vanth and am happy to get this version, too. He is by far the least exciting in the wave because of that though.

LOVE IT. I was just looking at my old POTF2 bantha the other day, it still holds up pretty well but was due for an update. It is crazy that it has been 18 years since we have had a Bantha back in the 30AC line.  I haven't caught the replay of the panel yet, but it will be interesting to see what updates the Tusken has, I imagine he will be very similar to the BOBF 4-Pack w/ new soft-goods.

Count me in for at least two... (unless tariffs push this close to $100...  :-X )

Good catch Rob, and great photo to show it. I had them side by side to check and didn't notice, but the lighting in my room sucks right now.

I'm not sure how I feel about a four pack of Snowtroopers with essentially no variation beyond the rifle.  I've already got a bazillion from prior releases so I don't feel like I need to army build any more.

Maybe include an E-Web (although they probably would add $20), but it would have been nice to maybe get some weathering variations or battle damage.

I'm probably going to pass on this at full retail and consider getting it if it gets discounted.  Still not sure I need more Snowtroopers at any price.

While I am happy with the set as is, it could have been an interesting concept if Habsro had outright replaced one of the figures w/ an E-Web and a few other small weapons/accessories and kept it at the original price point. That would have still felt like a decent value to me, and it would have added some variety to the set w/o diminishing the army-building capabilities when buying multiple sets.

The long rifles look good. I am more than ok with it just being 4 grunts. Aside from the totally different Snowtrooper Commander design, does anyone recall if there were other any special rank markings in canon? I don't recall any.

Ditto - Got Evazan this week and the got the same notices for Chopper and Callahan coming 4/15

Looks like my 4x Snowtroopers ended up in the box with Chopper and Callahan as well!  Glad to finally get to check those out (and figure out how many more I want to get when that rumored 4-pack goes up for pre-order).

Same, got a big old box full of goodies. I got my carded set from EE a few weeks ago, and now that the Amazon order has finally arrived, I can get some of these opened up.

I almost wish I had cancelled this lot of 9x snowtroopers from Amazon so that I could replace them w/ the troop builder set versions and give Bezos a few bucks less. Oh well, I have mostly been trying to phase out future Amazon orders in favor of EE (through the JD links of course) & Pulse orders

My case of these just arrived from EE today. Can't wait to open them up later. :)

TV-9D9 / Re: Andor (SPOILERS possible)
« on: April 4, 2025, 12:57 PM »
I'm guessing (hoping) we don't see Vader at all.  My guess is its something else fairly normal - e.g. poison, lack of oxygen (depressurization in space),  stress, etc.

I noticed that shot of Dedra Meero, too!  It didn't seem insignificant.  And it sounds like the final arc could be centered around the intel about Project Stardust.

Zero reason to think this, but for some reason I feel like it'd be cool if it was The Emperor and not Vader that turns up in Andor S2.  All the ISB stuff and action happening on Coruscant, seems like it would be natural for Palps to find out, kill Dedra for her incompetence, and then dispatch Vader to go deal with Krennic and ensure Project Stardust (hence Vader's interest in Krennic in Rogue One).

That would be a great use of Palpatine in the Disney-SW era... unlike TROS...

I really cannot wait for S2. The new trailer looks great... and this show feels incredibly timely with everything going on. My wife and I are going to do another rewatch of S1 (just as soon as we finish our "Last of Us" rewatch).

If only Hasbro could get us more figures from Andor/Rogue One, there is just so much potential from the trailer alone.

TV-9D9 / Re: Tales of the Underworld (Disney+)
« on: April 4, 2025, 12:51 PM »
I was not expecting this AT ALL!  But I guess maybe I should have been looking out for another animated short series.  Especially considering the impact animation has had on the entire franchise.  It's interesting to see that for this Underworld series of shorts that LFL chose Ventress and Cad Bane as the focal points.

A surprise, to be sure, but a welcome one!

I've really enjoyed the other short series so far, love Cad Bane & Ventress, and am really looking forward to this newest batch. I hope they keep these going, there's a lot of potential with the format. I used to like the old "Tales of..." novels that these series are a bit reminiscent of.

Good to finally see some movement on the Order 66 pack.  7% is a pretty weak discount - I'll keep waiting.

Still nothing else though. It's been more than a year since it was released, and it is still listed at full price.

I was going to grab the case form EE but it looks to be Sold Out already. Maybe it will go live again in 30 minutes?

Aside from being able to reuse the body for Porkins, I feel like we will have an inevitable Carson Teva re-release w/o his coat, maybe as the pack-in w/ his X-Wing. It is kind of odd that they didn't pick a cardfront image depicting him actually wearing the coat.

The Vintage Collection / Re: 2025 Hasbro Pulse Fan Stream Reveals
« on: March 25, 2025, 05:24 PM »
Dengar has been rumored as a repack for a year or two, so he wasn't a total surprise. However, I still don't really feel like he was needed, and the new decor doesn't look substantially better. The new cardback image does look nice though. I'll probably still grab him.

The rest of the reveals, though, were AWESOME. Kallus, Teva, & Ventress were all very high on my want lists and the figures for each are top-notch. I'll be grabbing a bunch of Kallus to headswap and use as generic ISB officers.

I didn't feel like the Landspeeder really needed much of a redo after the TVC 1.0 version, but after seeing this new one, it is definitely a nice upgrade. I love that they added the space behind the seat for 3PO's legs and the new engine detailing looks really nice. Floppy hat Luke is an obvious choice for a pack-in. I agree w/ Nick that it is a bit odd to reveal the Landspeeder and then not even casually mention any of the other new figures shown on the packaging...
