I think the only options for "free" passes were via

Media/Press (Deadline was March 4):

or Exhibitor (Deadline was today March 23rd).

I don't think they offered any deal for Industry/Professionals...  :-\

The coupons should be going out in the mail VERY soon, they are timed to be in your mail box sometime next week so they arrive approx 1 week prior to April 2nd.

Looks like the coupons are in fact showing up this week in the mail as previously reported ( :-*). has report of the mailer arriving in the mail and a nice picture of what the mailer looks like.

Here's my list from last time...

1. Padme Amidala (Fireside Dress)
2. Clone Trooper (neutral pose, removable helmet) - Clone Wars Figure
3. Ask Aak (Gran Senator) - RotS Figure
4. Ayy Vida (Twi'lek 'Entertainer' from Outlander Club) - Saga Figure
5. Nyrat Agira (Human 'Entertainer' from Outlander Club)
6. Shu Mai (Separtists) - Saga Screen Scene
7. Owen Lars w/Droid
8. Beru Whitesun w/Droid
9. Cleigg Lars w/Chair
10. Pablo-Jill (Jedi Knight) w/base - Post-OTC Figure

5/10 of the figures I wanted in 2003 ended up as figures in 2004/05!   :o

So, I guess my new "top ten" list would look like this:

1. Padme Amidala (Fireside Dress):

2. Owen Lars w/Droid:

3. Beru Whitesun w/Droid:

4. Cleigg Lars w/Chair:

5. Nyrat Agira (Human 'Entertainer' from Outlander Club):

6. Jocasta Nu (Jedi Librarian):

7.  Toonbuck Toora (Senator):

8. Padme Amidala (Going Home):

9.  Padme Amidala (Senator):

10.  Padme Amidala (Lake Retreat):

Colman needs to read this thread

Dissing the giant, "need to squeeze it just right" shoe phone?   ;D

Besides, we were talking the other day and he already said he's thinking about updating to a newer model, in fact he's got his eye on one of these:

Wonder Woman

My wife was super-pumped about the news the other day about Joss "Buffy" Whedon taking over writing/directing on the WB new WW movie.

She was a Buffy/Angel fan and she is a HUGE fan of Firefly/Serenity (keeps raving about the upcoming movie).  I think he'll do pretty good if he can transfer his ability to create strong, non-sexist female characters to WW.  I can only hope that it will turn out better than Catwoman did...  ::)

Time to drag this bad boy up from the depths...

Well, I'm looking to upgrade my cell phone (hopefully before C3 even).

Currently, my wife and I each have a phone and we have the cheapest plan you can get - 30 min per month, no long distance, no frills - just $10 a month for each phone.  The only reason we have the phones now is for roadside assistance / emergencies.  They are nice to have in case you break down on the road, lock yourself out, whatever.

Lately, we've both been using our phones more often especially during the summer when we are out and about trying to meet up with friends.  I know that we would both use them even more if we had a better plan, so we've kind of decided to ditch the home phone (long distance and all) and go the wireless route.

I mean, if for $60 a month we can have 2 wireless phones that I can use anywhere with 450 minutes, why the heck am I paying $40 plus Long Distance each month to Qwest instead?  Just so telemarketers can bug me?  It's not like we need the landline for Tivo or anything (since we don't have Tivo) and I can switch from DSL to Cable for the modem/internet.

So, I guess what I want to know is...

Anyone else ditch the land line in favor of going wirelss at home?

Anyone have a "cellular telephone" that they just LOVE having?

Can anyone recommend Verizon over T-Mobile over Cingular?

The price scanners at the Targets by me, list the price for 087-06-1327 as $9.99, perhaps the price will change I don't know. Maybe they're going to up the price by a dollar and still allow people w/coupons for $1 each figure to take $1 off the price of the deluxe figures too?

Yeah, around here at "Target" the DPCI for the deluxe rings up at $9.99, and at "Target Greatland" stores, it rings up at $10.99 for whatever reason.  I'm not sure where that original $11.99 Target price came from, unless that was the original price they had in mind when the list was created (this DPCI list was pulled back in January 05).

Didn't see them at either Wal-Mart I visited today, not that I really care

Why am I not surprised?   ::)

Wal-Mart in MN = red-headed stepchild of the Wal-Mart family  :(

I'm glad I was going to pass on them anyway...

A new nemesis for Spidey has been announced but the not say what villian he will play. Thomas Haden Church has been cast

I'll have to think who he will play. Anyone with thoughts on his character?

The dumb guy from "Wings" and "Sideways"?   ::)

I hate that guy...  >:(

I'll guess he's going to be some villian who will make me hate this movie, just like Tommy Lee Jones ruined the Bat-Franchise for me... well, actually a LOT of things in that 3rd Batman movie ruined it for me (and everyone else).  :P

I kinda wish they were white... the main reason being that now the ROTJ Imperials on Endor seem like they should have been in camo.

Don't worry, I'm sure the Biker Scouts we all love will be digitally altered to look like these guys for that super-special 3-D edition of the trilogy in 2007...  >:(  :P

Wow, those are looking GREAT so far. I'll definately be getting some Clones and a Vader, maybe a Vulture as well.

Are these still going to be $10?

I think they are showing up at the different places at a bit higher price...

STAR WARS E3 ACTION ASST.: 087-06-1327 $11.99 (some stores say $9.99-10.99)

NCAA Division I Men's Ice Hockey bracket

Gophers end up with a #1 seed in the west after a diappointing performance in the WCHA tourney.  :-\

Kinda fun that the WCHA is a powerhouse again this year, offering up 3 #1 seeds (UMN, Denver CC) as well as a couple others.
Hope the Gophers can get on another hot run through the NCAA tourney this year.   :)

Lakers have lost 5 in a row, for the first time since the 1993 season, which coincidentally was the last year we didn't make the playoffs, and I think the only time in the last quarter century that we missed the playoffs.  We suck.  Kobe sucks.  L.A. sucks.  I suck.  Etc.  Damn, I'm annoyed.  And Shaq's laughing all the way to the bank, with the best record in the NBA now.  ****.   ::)

And you forgot, you fell 1 game (2 wins) behind the 34-34 T-Wolves.   :-*
